@ixvix PU (polyurethane) foam over a plywood frame covered in Paverpol-soaked cloth, if the guide is to be believed. I'd do this and then make heavy weapons - Plasma Cannon-toting Dark Angel for the win.

suits are a bit too cartoony and the teenage boy face doesn't suit power armour I'm afraid ;( the inquisitor movie suits are by far the best. Try using fibreglass

just some criticism the helmets are a lil too big. see the part at 0:45? the helmet should fit inside the neck guard. im not saying it wasnt good those suits looked great. its just every suit has that neck guard and the helmets fit inside of it.
