i practice this and is called wing chun, and this guy is mixing it up with karate, making this art that was taught to bruce lee when he was a kid look as crap, honestly dont like it :)
Im no way as fast as this lad but my style of movement is similar I used to be a tournament fighter when i was young, no contact just fast and flicky, later I went on to do wing chun and realised that a good wc fighter doesnt have to be that fast, just sensitive ,keep up the training its very impressive watch the stamping foot though and protect that center line
Bruce Lee was probably your inspiration. Jeet Kune Do like moves. When you are retreating your hand to the side of your body, you have a problem. The Wu sao is gone. One strike is mostly not enough and you must be able to continue with chainpunches. That is not possible with your other hand on the side of you body.
es solo un komentario..eres muy rapido pero pa ke veas ke tan efectivo eres porke no pruebas meterte a peleas komo de k1 o de vale todo pa ke des a demostrar lo ke sabes..salu2 ...osu!!!!
no offense, just an opinion,i practice wing chun and i think that you are trying to imitate other videos, also you are mixing wingchun with karate,i noticed it the way you are moving in this video and obviously you dont know how to to do the chain punching which is essential in this martial art,my baby brother can do that
yeah this kid is going to get knocked out, its obvious that whoever taught him has not taught him the principle of unlocking his "chi" or inner energy. He can move much MUCH faster than this if he knew how to unlock his "chi". But I am not the Sifu and whoever taught him did not want to unlock his "Chi" for whatever reason..
@ethaoroz what boxer woud do after finger jab to eye or punch to troat? When I checked last time- they woud die after this! You need a check of reality. Stop you boxing, boxing, boxing, boxing, boxing bla bla bla. Boxing is good, but dont get blind and stereotipical!
@Jitkyundou You're totally deluded my friend. This is nothing but 'dead patterns'. To say this would work against boxers shows a total level of misunderstanding. Take a look at any world title boxing or MMA match. Watch them carefully. Do you REALLY think the nonsense you display would really stand up to those athletes? Seriously, is that what you're really saying?? I'm afraid it's you who needs the reality check.
@ethaoroz First of all I have been doing boxing myself! Second you just compeared this amature kid with world title boxers, that was very unmature my friend! Third- nobody claims, you must fight all the time like this. You can do boxing 90% of fight if you want and when you see opening, you use what this guy shows on vid. These 10 % of hand trapping will make you better then boxer.
@ethaoroz well the techniques he is using are the same techniques bruce lee used and many mma fighters even dana white have said bruce lee would do very well in modern mma
i love the way wing chun moves. i wish there was a school near me but im stuck with the great rival of wing chun, choy lee fut, been doing it for years and it kool but i wanna do wing chun.
what kung fu do you know of that focuses on being pretty? kung fu simply means time spent practicing something/ skill or abilities . it is a general chinese term often overused and applied to any martial arts from china. if "modern wushu" (although wushu means war art) is what you are talking about (atleast how americans refer to flashy "kung fu") then that is different. it is gymnastics derived from chinese boxing styles to show immense focus and ability outside of combat
you are right but in intense moments of engagement one only has mircro seconds to respond indistinctively to violence. Kung Fu simply means the pratice of training the body & mind to be able to spring into action at a heartbeat. Its been proven that muscle memory begins at 10,000 reps, involuntary instinct begins at 50,000 reps.
Every Martial Artist will have a fight that their lives or the lives of others will depend on, it might happen next year, next month..etc. be prepared for it!!!
on the top of this yet time spirit chinese have a right to siege

"Dissecting a corpse" comes to mind! Try to equate this nonsense against a skilled boxer!!This KID needs a reality check!
