It is interesting that Linda says to Joan that the show probably would not have been the success that it was without Joan. That is quite something to admit. Fable has it that these two actually got on before Dynasty and again after, not so sure about during. I think that is borne out here. When they toured together in Legends their relationship seems to have been damaged quite badly. Maybe one day they will get past that..... If I had to choose a captain, it would be Linda, integrity and wisdom.

Linda Evans was just on Oprah last week talking about how she had decided to get surgery because she was in love and married and man 12years younger than her - than man being Yanni at the time. She doesn't regret it, but she hasn't had any since. She may look a bit different but in my opinion she still looks beautiful and has aged very well. They all have.

I was so fortunate to meet and look after ( for a day ) Joan Collins back in 2004 whilst she was on tour in the UK doing the play Full Circle.

I was working on the Box Office and my friend who was in press arranged it for me to meet & accompany her on a trip to a local pottery factory with her husband.

I can report that despite the public assumption that she isn't very nice, i found her wondefully charming, elegant , friendly and incredibly witty. Her husband, Percy, was a lovely man too. :)

@eternia75 I met Joan when she did "An evening with Joan Collins" in the UK and again when she and Linda did the play "Legends" in Toronto! Both are lovely and kind and I got lots of signed stuff and photos with them. They love meeting fans and never get tired talking about Dynasty. Its a shame catfights and caviar isnt on any DVD release.

@soapwonder I also saw the Legends show when they were on tour and I met LInda who i have been a lifelong fan of after the show. She was so kind and gracious. After she signed autographs she asked if she missed anyone. I waited for 1/2 an hr for JOan to come out and it was freezing cold. She came out signed one poster for someone and jumped into her car. I didnt even get a good photo of her.

Linda Evans, Al Corley, Pamela Belwood, Catherine Oxenberg, Pamela Sue Martin, and most of the cast of Dynasty have grown older repectably, and they look like time had changed them. Only Joan Collins and Stephanie Beacham managed to defeat the power of time

Emma Samms was such a crappy substitute for Pamela Sue Martin. Pamela had alot more charm and her acting skills were definetely superior. Dynasty completely lost it when they implemented the U.F.O abduction of Fallon, by that time an another wise great show had become, well lets face it, moronic. However the first four or five seasons ruled!
