Don't forget that he's just messing with you the entire fight until he uses his real power to instantly kill the entire raid. Every one of you would be scourge minions if it weren't for Fordring going SUPERSIYJAINNGLOWINGHOLYLIGHT on Arthas' ass, smacking Frostmourne out of his hand and trapping him in all those souls while the spirit of his father brings you all BACK TO LIFE so you can kill him.

The lich king is not susposed to be bad though blizz left that in our heads its frostmourne thats bad not the crown. jailor of the dammed is the correct title for the lich king.

it was a mixture between arthas being crazy to kill mal'ganis and all that power. your typically story of someone doing something good for bad reasons. In this case helping his people killed most of them.

This reminds me quite alot of one of the beginning Death Knight quests where you spy on the Scarlets from the Eye of Acherus. I found I particularly enjoyed raising vast numbers of Ghouls to be slaughtered by the Scarlets.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of ghouls were sent to their deaths against superior Scarlet fighters. I quite enjoyed undermining the Scourge's efforts from within. At the battle for Light's Hope, while the other Death Knights were being slaughtered, I sat back and watched.

Well first off, those are n00bish level 80s, not even players for that matter, and they don't have a badass paladin, a very pissed off Death Knight, and either a Mighty World Renowned Sorceress, or a Banshee queen Archer to help them. Lol

Two extremely good mods for that are Cooldowns and Cooldown Count, they work well together.

There is no way to split Arthas and Ner'zhul anymore: The Lich King consumed Ner'zhul and banished what little remained of Arthas' Humanity.

There isn't any possibility to redeem the Lich King. That's exactly why he must be DESTROYED!

Arthas and Ner'zhul merged, and for a short period of time co-existed in the same body, but soon after Arthas killed Ner'zhul's spirit or soul or essence via dream or another dimension. Very hard to describe seeing that it wasn't very well explained in the book, but nevertheless the Lich King is now purely Arthas, rather than a mixture of the two.

I always wondered what happened to Arthas' human troops: I know it said the bulk of his forces dug in and established Valgarde, the primary town for the Alliance troops entering Northrend.

But, this explains what he did almost immediately after he abandoned his men.

And, I do think that we won't be seeing Icecrown Citadel's gates open for a good little while. The Blizz team said they don't want to release it until they've worked out everything.
