I was at Essence that night and his show was off the hook despite of the late start! And it wasn't totally his fault...they were running late all night. GO MAXWELL!!! LOVE YA!!!!

Steve Harvey said that he was backstage and that it was not Maxwell's fault. He said Maxwell was very professional and ready to go. It was the performers ahead of him that went waaaay over and even after Anita Baker finally got off stage there was an additional 45 minutes of technical problems. Steve said even through all that, this man remained professional and everything that happened was out of his control. So I don't see why anyone would be pissed at Maxwell.

Man tha whole concert was off schedule. ppl didnt perform at the rite time. The Host called Anita back for 3 more songs, called charlie back for 2 more songs. Then had ta wait an Hr for maxwell? Come on nw. Myself as well as half tha stadium caught a good lil nap. Lol
