It cracks me up when people can't see the potential in a young player and sat stupid things. It's a (short) FRICKEN drum solo IDIOTS!
He's young and chose to play what he chose to play. He's developing plenty of double pedal technique (ex. 1:31 to 1:38) - and will, no doubt, develop more.
And NO "anyone " can't do this with enough practice (at least practically speaking). This guys got exceptional talent.
HE's not old enough to have these chops without having a special talent.

He has a Yamaha 13" Dave Weckl Snare, I think. He has the 2 other snare, im not so sure which one he is using in the video, but its not the Weckl snare he is using,coz i tried his kit after his drum solo.His Weckl snare is on his left.Thanks,hope that helps you

BUT i feel he lacks creativity in a 'groove aspect'... he's just playing with his rudiments along side putting some bass in between them and moving around the toms and snares, its all 'speed-speed-speed'..
anyone could do that if given enough practice, but then again, i have to praise him for his talent as such a young age...
would you mind if i ask how much it cost?? that drums :))

@elvenenovil. That is a Yamaha Absolute Custom Birch.it's a 7 piece kit..good sound kit.

I am curious to see hou he tunes his drums, and what heads he uses. Its the sound i want to get out of my drums.
