@beerj1992 Well, if you were really asking, this is a tool-assisted speedrun; meaning that he's probably using a program that allows him to play in slow motion, thus giving him more time to react. Look up "tool-assisted speedrun" in any search engine if you would like to know more.

@ShiningNow its not tool assisted i think. Speed run demo website don't allow it. He just keep retrying certain stages(prob harder ones) of the game to record the video in many parts, then send all to admin. But will get penalised 0.5s for each seperate recording done. Its not possible to do it one shot without a tool-assist, his timing prob get penalised many times as he made many many parts. Total timing 1/2 hr is still impressive though.

@youziness Maybe you are right, but are you sure SpeedDemosArchive doesn't allow TAS? Where did you get that from? The FAQ doesn't seem to mention anything of the sort.

@ShiningNow speeddemosarchive don't allow TAS. Under the rules section, the person need to use program like camtasia to record his screen while playing, send together with game demos. Well, he may use tool assist to research the game but he must still run through the actual game without TAS to qualify, which require a lot of tries.
