Danny Elfman said that when he finished the score he felt he was letting Tim Burton down. He wasn't very pleased with the final result. It's curious because I find this whole soundtrack out of this world & combine when Tim Burton's story & mind & Winona Ryder, it makes me literally want to live in that suburb & save Edward's ass or be Edward and just take Kim to my castle and "live happily ever after".
