  • rodjen u rijeci 1963 uvijek ista i bolja nikad problema svi zive i rade u mirnoj rijeci

  • Rijeka has become Italy's 1924th on the basis of an agreement between Rome and Belgrade. City of Rijeka was under Austro-Ungeria 1905.

  • Love you Rijeka... from a croatian argentine

  • Hvala za ovaj prekrasan video. Ide u favorite.

  • volim ovaj grad..:)))

  • Rijeka 4 Evar!

Good thing Rijeka kept its essence from the Italian days.

  • wow my friend i love you this is my town i was born here and when i see it in this old pictures i love my town even more thank you so much

    Auguri a tutti :-)

  • You don't learned history???

  • @zorrobacsi we do, you don't...

  • Dear friends, Im born and I live in Rijeka. Im a Croat. The thing is that we all have to learn that it is not important what nationality we have or what color we are. Important is tolerance and that is the reason Rijeka was not burning in the war. Rijeka is the best city in Croatia just because we have so many different people and we get along just fine. . Rijeka is not Italian or Croatian, it is the city of people of Rijeka so do not put filthy politics or nationality inside its walls.

  • Thanks, I couldn't said it better. Merry Christmas and all the best in the 2010.

  • Merry Christmas!

  • @bazdard Easy to say if you still live there, my relatives who lived there before the war became refugees for five years and ended up in Australia.

  • @Pattipu That is what exactly happened to my nonna too. RIP

  • @bazdard no its croatia and always will be

  • @manarutd in your wildest dream and I don't even think it will be either it was Italian and it'll always be at least in our heart, you can't cancel history .

The majority population was Italian, it has decreased now, as Tito's partisan chased away the Italian folks, what the fascist did it to you country you got my apologies, nevertheless the Tito's partisan commited more criminal action than fascist and nazi together. they`d have punished the one 2 blame not the innnocent families.

  • @bazdard Annexation of Fiume as a Croatian province had been planed for centuries by the ever changing administrations, but it never happened. Fiumani did not want it! The great ethnic mix in the city had only one thing in common, they “all” spoke FIUMAN .. NOT Riekan!! In 1945, wasn’t the will of the people, but the will of Tito made it Croatian. Fiumani scattered around the world serve as testimony of that. In a united EU, will they be able to claim back, property that was theirs?

  • @2cosmo3 I hope they will get their property back. Live free, forget the flag, we are all one...

  • @bazdard and all the best for 2012 also by me :)

  • Bella città Fiume....

  • città più bella

  • ovo je predivno

    najljepši grad pozz iz rijeke

  • Claiming "Fiume is Italian city" is like saying Trieste is Austrian - It has allways been here where it is but the governments changed over period, but people that lived here 100, 200, 300, 500 years - still live here. And they are Croats, Italians, Hungarians, Serbs, Bosnians..... its sad that people dont undestand such basic principles but get blinded by their possesive selfishness.

  • Sorry I disagree you, 'hvrat', but Bosnians & Serbs have been living at FIUME since 1947, once Croats applied well known ex-Jugoslavian ethnic cleansing 'policy' and expeled italian people from its own city. It was after this that Italians empty homes of Fiume (almost 70% of the city) have been given to poor bosnian-serbian hinterland peoples.

Learn & know before speaking avoid confusions.

Trieste, Fiume, Pola, Zara, Spalato, Cattaro... have been, are, and will be related to Italy for ever.

  • @gab208If someone is talking like you, from Musolini's perspective, then I would put the things this way..North Italy is mostly Germanic&Slavic,in Middle Italy ther's a llarge numberof non Italians,Croats,Albanians etc, specially Calabria,Sicily,or Sardegna..And about D'anunzio and his blackshirts,it's well known who they were and what they did, from Slovenia,Croatia,Montegro,Albania,Greece till Ethiopia and North Africa. They robbed, killed, massacred, but Italian army was crushed at the end,in 1943.

  • Ah che bela la mia Fiume.

  • Correction 'pulezan4': In 1905 Fiume (not Rijeka) was a city whose citizens (italians in majority) were under Austrian rule. Then came the Free State of Fiume and Gabriele D'Anunzio. And after that, Italy and ex-Yugoslavia decided to sign a treatment by which both countries distributed Free State of Fiume territory. Fiume came to Italy, the rest went to ex-Yugoslavia. Then Croatia diplomatically stole Fiume to its italian citizens...

This has not finished yet, my friend.

    Italy do not forget!

  • Bellissime...

  • FIUME ITALIANA!

    I'M CRYING.

  • Bas me nostalgija uhvatila dok gledam ovo, jedva cekam se vratiti u svoj grad i medju Rijecane

  • lijepo

  • Super!!!

  • Very nice.

  • grazie mille, belle foto e musica!!

  • Hvala,hvala!!

  • Hvala!

  • Super!
