Hi there all you game critics! I've played both Brink and Team Fortress 2, and a long time fan of the former, mind you. The similarities are mutable at best; the two games play very differently immediately. The only similarities between the two are the classes, and they operate more like WoW or CoD (Unlock weapons via challenges, Skill Tree via leveling), and the stylized argument? Put that to bed, the two are no more similar than a Frank Miller comic is to a Picasso. Funny vid, bad opinion.

Um...dude. There's multiple classes including a fast runner, a person who can disguise themselves, a heavy set character with a chain gun, a medic and a sniper, the game has an exaggerated art style, the gameplay is also similar. Having playing Brink I'm not kidding; the two are VERY close. Brink is a different beast, but the homage is a bit obvious.

@veniceiceman it is like tf2 but not a ripoff. they both originate from Quake mods involving red vs blue and class based teamwork shooters, so they're cousins. You can tell the differences but you can see how there related :)

if you get the full game you realize that the only class missing a major similarity in brink from TF2 is the pyro, but a minor similarity is that you can throw firebomb's soo its a clone of a good game, only better.
