Phoenex360: I beg to defer. As someone who actually JOINED the military, I know that the military is very stringent about who they allow in. Most of the people I went through MEPS with were very intelligent and driven individuals. Palin was elected in '06 and her son joined up in '07; yes, just because your child is in the military it doesn't make you a leader, but she is more in touch with reality than most in Washington because she is a military mom!
