this might sound super weird but maybe if (daniel i think you said) had a brother, you could have him take his sperm to the sperm bank then you could get it and all that good stuff it thats not too weird to you but then maybe the baby would have some features of you and him. idk jsut a thought :)
YEAH ADOPTION!!!!!!!!! IM adopted lol and i was in foster care and no child should have to go thro that..... the fosters fams i was in never really "cared" like id be there long enough to start school then i would move.....so yeah ha it sucked but then i was adopted at 12 and shit i had a family granted a not so open minded and supportive family when it comes to the LGBTQ community but a family no the less
I completely agree with you about the whole adoption thing, and it's also something that I thought of before I met my man. There are a lot of children moving from foster home to foster home over here (UK), and to be able to give a child like that a stable and loving home would be amazing, although it is a long, tough process! Despite this, there just seems to be this biological urge to have my own babies (think it kicked in properly this year - I'm 27), that's really difficult to ignore.
yeah ive never really had the biological urge thing. but i am only 23 so it might come in a few years. to me a family is people who love you. biology doesnt mean much. so adoption just makes sense, like you said because some many kids need love.
Maybe pick multiple guys that you'd like to be the donator, make them all sign saying that they give up all rights, and artificially inseminate all the sperm at once. That way nobody knows who is biologically the father....? Does that make sense? You get what you want and so does Andrew.
soxash, that might work except you can't really discount genes and heredity. some physical traits are just obviously passed from parent to offspring, and this situation COULD just turn into one of those elephant-in-the-room moments where everyone knows but they're just gonna pretend like they don't...
i guess that might work except i don't know if we know that many men that look like me....that's kinda why i'm for the sperm bank thing b/c at least then there's a chance the child would resemble me and Angela. I am definitely all about adoption too. Also as much as I have an appreciate for alternative types of families and want one sharing, parenthood beyond myself and my partner is something I don't think I would care to test out.
Yes. I'm personally with you on adoption, but stems from my beliefs on the world at large and the amount of child that need a loving home, which I'm sure that you and Angela could provide.
I can, however, see where both of you are coming from.
absolutely, though it's important to me that LGBTQ persons aren't boxed in their reproductive choices. ideally anyone who wanted children would adopt 1 or 2 but it doesn't mean they still cant have a biological child

I'm an idealist. Sorry. But yes, I know. That was a thought when I wrote that. If the guys look somewhat similar, it may or may not be a problem.
