Being from WI, I can tell you Feingold is one of the best State Representatives in Washington. He has always been on the side of the people. He visits every county in the state once a year to listen to what Wisconsinites have to say. Genuinely a man of the people.
You are correct that this is a violation of the 4th ammendment. It is not, however, the fault of the Supreme Court. The wiretapping program has not been reviewed by the Court to my knowledge. And the immunity provision makes it less likely that it ever will (but ACLU is suing now, so we have reason to hope). It is Congress who's to blame for this cave-in, and they're doing it because they're afraid of being "soft on terror." So it is us, "the people," who are guilty by extension.
Vote for Ron Johnson!

This is in direct violation with the 4th ammendment! It should be the people interpreting the Constitution, not the supreme court!

Obama should be ashamed. I'm voting for Nader. Enough is enough. You have to at least pretend to care about my rights.

Yeah, how about you say that to the Republicans.

Wow. I'm so impressed that Feingold was picked as one of the token Democrats to oppose the Total Information Awareness project.
It must mean that he's one of the REAL democrats. A REAL progressive....
