  • summit is the best treestand, great video

  • Lock the top part in with a wratchet stap when u get too the top. It makes it way more secure because u can lean on the sides without it movin on u

  • I noticed you don`t have a small section of rope between the bottom and top parts of the stand. Bad practice dude. What happens if you loose the bottom section? thanks for the helpful bungie cord trick. ..peace out

  • is this stand better thant the switchblade or viper ss.

  • @MyDropkickmurphy its all personal prefernce, the summit 180 has a circular cage if you take a look at it online at basspro the summit has a circle so you can choose to sit and climb or stand and climb, the viper ss has a square cage and its ment for standing while you climb. all of the summit treestands are perfect its ll personal prefernce.. but i prefer the summit 180 in my oponion.

  • @thegreatdeerhunter The Viper is a sit-down/stand-up climber.

  • Hey man you can do what you want but to make things a bit easier and faster you need to set that summit in a tree just like you had it then find the furthest point which you can sit and pull up the bottom part, then climb back out of the stand and get a good piece of rope and tie to both the ends so that way you don't have to keep adjusting and just you that added piece of mind if that platform ever slips down for any reason. Helps me a whole lot and it's fast

  • @HoytAlfamax32 yeah mine didnt come with the rope that ties them together

  • ok thanks for the stirrup tip. i will let my dad know to move the stirrups back some so it will be more comfy

  • @arfbarg welcome, he may think he cant get his feet in but he can, and only the tips of ur feet will get in but it makes it alot more comfy

  • I'll tell you what man, I love the climbers, just not for morning hunts! Your walkin' to your stand, dead quiet, then you start climbing, and you sound like 2 iron bucks clashing there horns together! lol, nah, not really, i just have one that dosent like to cooperate, my other one works really well, and real quiet. I mostly hunt out of lock ons, usually get em set up and hunt em, if I do my scouting, i wont have to worry bout jumpin tree to tree with a climber. Cool vid tho

  • @champlaya7 yeah dude same here i use alot of ladder stands and hang on stands i jus bought this climber and im going to try it out.
