I love this app, as it adjusts it's difficulty to your strength, and even gives you an elo rating. It also has a ton of puzzles which get quite addictive, and I love the fact that I can analyze a position with shredder, because I play at a club, and it's nice to be able to analyze with my ipod.
I can barely beat the chess engine on a 10 year old Nokia so the strength of an engine doesn't concern me. I like shredder chess because it scales well. On lower difficulty settings it emulates the errors of real players well.

You don't have to press the back button a dozen times, just keep it pressed. ;-)
