the knife 4-hit combo worked like a charm 4 me when she is on 4 leg's because it doesnt give her the time to pounce you, just keep spamming that combo and she does'nt evan get to do damage. trust it worked for me --

I'm currently stuck on this boss. I can't even get past her first form. I jam the crowbar in her, tap "A" repeatedly, and she just stands on two feet again. And the eternal battle continues.

i have a theory, remember the mannequin scene from sh3, in the hilltop center, well maybe it could be symbolic to scarlet, and how she kills her father (head chopped off) also it happens to be a mannequin (scarlet is like a mannequin) or maybe it could symbolise her death. (dismembered mannequins) then what she does to her father afterwards...

yep! this monster is dr fitch's daughter scarlet. each monster kinda represents how each of the children and how they died (scarlet loved dolls, she was dismembered, asphyxia-she was suffocated, the last thing she felt was her mothers hands...)

yah, and i heard it's kinda supposed to resemble a plant, synbolising the soil he was burried in (seppulcher 'grows' outta the meat sack) Plus he's upside down cos he was dropped into the ground headfirst.

And(I didn't notice the first time through)in the beginning hospital,theres references to each of the kids deaths in the hallway alex goes down,like the door with the number(major spoiler,so I won't say,but you understand)the 3 "hostel" people,like the one strangling the girl,the one using a saw to dismember the other and the one dropped down the pit.

Well the music is great, doesn't have much sence with the battle, but it's still OK. Something else are the secuences, coz these have a cutscene between the time when you are playing and the dash pressing bottoms, there isn't a complete secuence when the monster falls down and it's triying to kill you.
