How to install minecraft 1.2 prerelease Week 3 Snapshot

Okay, so if it did not work for you follow these steps.

1. Open (Or Save) the file located in the description (There's no virus.)

2. After downloading the file, go to %AppData%.

3. Click the .minecraft folder.

4. Click the bin folder.

5. Copy and paste the minecraft.jar somewhere you can find it.

6. Open the File you've downloaded

7. Then put the zip folder in the bin folder and delete the minecraft.jar file

8. Then right click the zip file and click Extract to the bin folder

This will be my third attempt today. Every other time I tried to Minecraft won't load (get past the loading screen). This is getting frustrating.

it works.

1) download this in internet explorer,

2) when it says open of save, scroll to save as

3) save file to all files and name it minecraft.jar

4) go to appdata/roaming/minecraft/bin

5) replace old minecraft.jar file with new file

and it should work

If yours Is In a rar file like mine was you have to delete the mincaft.jar file in your bin and then put the new one in

For all the people whose file is appearing as a .zip just go into your bin and delete your minecraft.jar and drag the zip into ur bin
