I remember seeing the NW fans jingling their keys at the opening kickoff (I know they do this all the time, but I didn't know then). I got so angered and prayed for a PSU win. I had just graduated and all I wanted to see was the Lions get back into the thick of things. What a great season it was!
He shut down Meachem and Ginn because his proceeded--and exceeded--him. Teams didn't throw his way. The first game of his junior year, Buffalo, with nothing to lose, decided to throw at his man in the second half and totally exposed him. After that, everybody picked on him. That's what happened to him. When Juice Williams can light you up for 14 receptions and 150 yards, you are not a cornerback.
This is one of my favorite games ever! Watching the sideline go nuts after DWil's catch and run was awesome and a season changer. I also loved when Joepa told the ESPN jerk "hey, we gotta get going" and took off running.
In my opinion, this was the spring board game to such a successful season. It boosted their morale to an incredible level, and we probably would not be holding the 05 season on such a high pedestal had they not won the game in this fashion
@SuperSricky Depends what year you are talking about. As a sophomore King was one of the best cover corner in the entire country. He shut down Meachum and Ginn. As a junior he was one of the worst in the country. I can't explain what happened to him.

That should say: "his reputation proceeded him"

They should have kept Justin King on offense. He was worthless as a corner, but made some big plays on offense.

I wish you showed the replay of the "late hit" at 8:00 as it was COMPLETE BS.
