I am so glad you get to stay at the same school. I teach high school and I am totally stressed about who they will bring in for my mat leave- it could be someone who has no knowledge of the subject I teach, or very poor training, which would so suck because the school I teach at is a really high performing school. UGH! But, we can only control so much and besides I am sure when our babies come we won't even think about work! I am 29 weeks on thursday, due Oct 5th.

@wildefoodie We're so close in due dates :) I was really concerned about the sub. but my collegues are awesome. However, I also found out that my BFF (she has her credential) will do my long-term sub job! So that COMPLETELY relieves even more stress.

Congratulations on getting to keep your same job...what a relief! My school district is the same way about maternity leave, you have to use all of your sick leave. Kinda stinks, but it's worth it!
