I didnt like this movie, I thought it looked silly, the city was all cluttered, it didnt look futuristic, it looked like the eighties with flying cars and more neon, and any buildings trying to look futuristic just looked tacky. But this tune is quite funky. It reminds me of Mass Effect, and that can only be a good thing!

I just realized the synthesizer and the drums at 0:17 in The Big-O OST - "Stand A Chance" is a direct shoutout to Blade Runner's end title music. @judgedredd123 How is that a bad thing? They're re-hiring Ridley Scott and they're probably re-using Harrison Ford (taking into account he was just in Cowboys vs. Aliens, I'd say he still has some acting years left in him). Just look at Terminator, it's one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time and it got a sequel that rocked even better than the first, BR is definitely one of the best sci-fi movies of all time and I think the sequel is gonna be awesome!

@judgedredd123 Tron Legacy was a passable addition to a classic (cult?) 80s sci-fi. There's a very narrow window of "not as good as the original, but good enough that we're glad it was made" and if Blade Runner 2 is as good as it can possibly be, it will be that.

I think I saw this movie for the first time at an age of... hmm 13-14 something(24 now). I thought it was indeed meh, but I was a huge star wars geek (still am though) so I didn't get my share of "action". When I saw the movie again a few years back I couldn't believe how wrong I was. It's hands down one of the best films I've ever seen.
