I got this for Playstation 2. I recently order the Playstation 3 version from Amazon. Can't wait for it to come in. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is a extremely awesome game to play. More epic. Plus, the graphics is pretty much improved.

i have an awesome idea for a next spyro game !! Play two different story modes, Ignitus's story mode which has a new rising foe and you play as ignitus to adventure to eventually fight the foe and the spyro story mode has spyro and cinder in the spirit realm and the foe that ignitus has to fight is also causing havok in the spirit realm and you have to fight through the game to find the are that is the middle of the spirit realm and the real world and spyro and ignitus meet and fight the foe!!!

I loved the Legend of Spyro trilogy, and I think it was because of the plot, gameplay, and the voice cast. I evne liked the ones before the trilogy (the original ones), but this new one that's coming out?

@LPDisturbedHU You know, I would say give it a rent. It certainly would be worth just checking out like I had done. I never played any of the other Legend games, and I will say it wasn't terrible. Not great either, but I managed to get some enjoyment out of my time playing it.

I hadn't played a Spyro game since A Hero's Tail, and before that the original 3. It's quite a different experience than those games, I will tell you that. My one suggestion: get a friend for co-op, it's better that way.

@Rockwell Ooohhhh SHUT THE HELL UP!!!! They DID NOT KILL CRASH! He may have a more comedic basis, but he's still as epic as this, and he does NOT look gay. What's so different?! His tats? Only on his hands. He is almost completely the same besides some slight shape changes. And fuck the gloves, they're not his "trademark". Crash's pants, shoes and hair change in every game (look closely) and his new punk style suits him for now. Just buzz off if you hate it. Both New Crash & Spyro are the best.

@RockwellTvProduction Yes, I have played the older games and the only I liked more than an 7 was CTR which I felt was an 8. The newer titles have more weight IMO. Unique combat (name me 3 games before 2007 that used the Jacking concept), good music and funny characters. I do feel that the older games had a better level and music style, though. But the combat and characters were improved a lot IMO. Well, except Tiny. He gets annoying after a while. Mostly his voice, nothing else, really.

It was meant as a joke & anyone with a light sense of humor who can take jokes as jokes would laugh his/her ass off with Tiny. People are really weak minded. They loved Crash as a kid and expect Crash to always stay the same. You grew, and Crash did too, so did Spyro and other game mascots. It's not to be hated for being different. You've changed, the games should evolve as well. Better than monotonous repetition.

But they rebooted it all toghether and grabbed characters from before and gave diffrent roads to them. But they did get rid of the kinda comedy before. I think its more Crash wasnt rebooted. They kept goin with his story. If....

It's still THEIR take on it as it's a diffferent developer. Hell, look at Sonic. It doesn't need to be a different developer. Crash was a nice mute, but he was too simple and acted like some invisible guy was mooning him. Now he has personality and his babbling is not actual talking. It's not that much of a change. He's still a fun-loving dunce.

I wish they would just re-make Spyro Year Of The Dragon. I remember playing it when i was like 8-10 years old and it was the best game for its time i have ever played. I have never had so much fun than when i was playing that. I was gonna buy this spyro just to remember those days, but it hasn't even got Gems =(

It's got the Gmes, but now, they have a bigger and better purpose: Life and Mana and the white EXP Gems. This the version of Spyro is not for nostalgia, i's for those who want advancement for the Spyro series. If you don't want anything else but nostalgia, i recommend A Hero's Tail, but if you want something new and cool, you'd probably love this new version of Spyro.

unfortunately this game will be released later in Europe =( (november). And what´s worse is that it will be released translated to swedish in my area. And the voice actor for spyro is Tobbe the wizard (Tobbe Trollkarlen) an annoying amateur illusionist who does magic shows for kids around five years old. I ,even though i´m swedish, hate swedish translations of english games it just sounds so friggin wrong and the translators always manage to translate wrong. =(

Apparently, in the future some creatures find them in the crystal, crack it open + capture Cynder + Spyro, + Sparx is left on his own. + Sparx finds Hunter, that's all I know. + Spyro + Cynder can now both equip dragon armor in pieces that they find too, this game is gonna be sweet.

I don't think this will be what we could call "Official Trailer". I mean, it's a trailer, and it has things we haven't seen before, but what I mean is, that in a "real" trailer, there would be more about the story and cutscenes, less about the gameplay.
