@Zern227 - Again, let's see what Richard has to say about that;
Google: 'Possibilities Surprises Limits Move'
Quote: "If the sphere is ever obstructed, like when a player might through their hand back while holding a Move, the controller's motion sensors kick in to approximate the position of the Move, a technique that is similar to what can be accomplished with the Wii Remote's add-on, the MotionPlus".
And Wii=sensor+wand, Move=Cam+wand. You can't use either wand on it's own to play games.
HERES HOW IT STARTED SO THE FIRST THING WAS THE EYE TOY!! NEXT WII!!! NEXT PLAYSTATION MOVE!!! NEXT KINECT!!!! So its kinda like xbox 360 copy ps3 and ps3 copy the wii!!
could you please stop bitching about how kinect is an eytoy rip off and move is a dildo because it does not look like one and stop bitching it's wii rip off ive heard sony has been working da move since 2001 before the wii i dont know if its true but I dont care also kinect is not entirel a rip off of eye toy because it is more advanced than eyetoy THE THING IS
I DONT CARE OF WHICH is copying which I JUST CARe WHICH I FUN which im having lots of fun with MOVE kickass
TO through Kinect in here... Kinect is NOT for core gamers... Try having a core gamer stick up for the fact that the majority of the selling games has something inline with Kinectapets...
@NeotericTv1 - Kinect IS for core gamers, hence Forza 4, a Gears of War game, Child of Eden, Project Draco, Steel Battalion and MANY others to follow. For launch, MS have focussed on the casual (Wii) market because that's where the sales are (look at Wii sales, look at Kinect sales), and hence that's where a lot of money is to be made. Now that Kinect is out, this year we'll be seeing the core Kinect games from developers too. Anyway, both Move and Kinect are great additions to gaming.
@NeotericTv1 - So if you haven't heard of it, then it doesn't exist? Try google ;-) Except for Gears, those I listed were announced at E3 2010 (& Forza played).
Kinect has just launched, so for launch MS have focussed on the market with the biggest potential at present, i.e the casual (Wii) market, and from the sales of Kinect this xmas, they are succeeding. However numerous Kinect CORE games are in development, and hence many more will be announced/shown this year (including 'hybrid' games).
@MTMind2 no I didn't say that... I wanted your input on the games listed rather than Oh these games are coming out...! have you tried them... do you know for a FACT that they are the best...?
@NeotericTv1 - What? Where did I say ANYTHING about those games being the BEST? Only fanboys say unreleased games that no-one has played are 'the best', so let's not go down that road please! I was correcting your claim that (and I quote) "Kinect is NOT for core gamers", by highlighting the FACT that there are many CORE games in development for Kinect (Codename D is another, many more to be announced). So although MS have targetted the casual market at launch, Kinect IS for core gamers too.
@NeotericTv1 - Not quite, I like (and have) both 360 and PS3 and therefore I'm excited by what both motion controllers have to offer gaming (to me they're both great additions to gaming, with strengths in different areas). But yes, lets drop it and move on. :)
@MTMind2 I said I don't mind either one... I like MOVE... I have seen great things with it... I have it... Kinect is great... for voice activation and motion turn on/off... Though I didn't find the GAMING to be that addicitng... They are greater than the Wii, lets put it that way... Both have good potential... Though I didn't get the same excitment as I did with MOVE. All and all, this is MY opinion... anyone is free to think differently... We are human...
@NeotericTv1 - I respect your opinion 100% and would never challenge your preferences :). I have no problem with some preferring Move and others preferring Kinect, my only issue was the core claim you made earlier, and I wanted to clarify that I'm a multiformat gamer interested in both Kinect and Move. Btw, I have neither controller because I'm waiting for a must-have game, i.e. a game that makes me say "Wow, I must buy Move/Kinect to play that game". Hopefully such games will arrive soon.
The PS eye in Fight Lights Out does track head and body that why when you move around the character also moves around, the move controllers control your hands so it knows how hard you hitting the AI.
@AaronHarvey15 well SOMEBODY seems like a ps3 fan kid that got over excited, knock it off dude, know one will even buy any motion games they are all crap
@AaronHarvey15 Lastly Nintendo from the very beginning supported many types of control. The classic and even Gamecube control. However since the Wii is all about motion gaming and obviously not about graphics, it would be pretty stupid not to make the motion controls the exclusive way to play. That's what made Nintendo successful. That's also what encouraged Sony and Microsoft who originally scoffed at the Wii's controls, to come up with their own motion controls. Not the other way around.
@AaronHarvey15 The eyetoy was a gimmick peripheral for the PS2 and the Wiimote is the Wii's almost exclusive control system. There is a huge difference. Sony gets no points for making expensive add ons for their consoles where they can choose to just dump support like they did with PS2s eyetoy. This garbage that Sony thought of it first is BS. The Wiimote is a much better version of the Power Glove. Nintendo copied nobody but themselves.
@AaronHarvey15 Kid you have no idea what you're talking about. It's evident because you don't even know how the Wii's technology works. The camera is in the Wiimote that sees infrared LIGHT. There are no lasers involved. The sensor bar is nothing but two groups of LEDs that emit infrared light. Nintendo made their controllers the way they did so it would not be intrusive, have ease of use, be easy to accommodate multiple players, and double as a 2D style controller.
If you say SONY copied Nintendo.. You should also not support Microsoft. Playstation 2 had games controled only by Playstation EYE before Kinect.. so.. M$ copied SONY lol xD
In my opinion what is happening on the gaming market is called GROWTH or EVOLUTION OF GAMING. People like it. I don't find anything wrong in SONY making Move.
@kudzierzny your words say that you're a PS3 fanboy.
PSMove is way more a ripoff from Wii than Kinect is from eyetoy. Eyetoy could only sense movements, so if you placed the eyetoy camera against a tv and play a movie, then you get to clean the goddamn window LOL
@xdlugia1 "PSMove is way more a ripoff from Wii than Kinect is from eyetoy. Eyetoy could only sense movements"
you forgot to mention that the wii only senses flicks to the right, left, up, down and twist....and it cannot track you..the only way to track a wi remote if by pointing at the sensor bar...if you cover the tip of the wii remote it will not track and if you dont face the remote forward..it wont track
@kudzierzny Move is just slightly improved from Wii, Kinect in other facts is waaaaay more improved to be called a ripoff. That's just like saying that the PS2 is a ripoff from the SNES!
@xdlugia1 kinect is slightly improved from an eye toy =] same thing just better tech. Kinect and ps move are both "rip offs" of the wii if you can call something that is better a rip off (Y)
@IIhazard85II Would you say that PS3 is a NES ripoff? No. Kinect does way more than eyetoy and is way more advanced, but it is based on the same meme. Move in other words is the same as Wii just with a camera.
@kudzierzny your right we had it on 2001 we had demos and stuff but they didn't put it on sell it was just demos till wii came out on 2006 - 8 so then sony was like hell no it was our idea then made the ps move lol XD!!!!
@kudzierzny sony is just 1 big fat copy cat.. when they see succes in other things by.. nintendo or microsoft... THEY SUDDENLY MAKE IT TOO... and why? cuz they wanna have money they rapidly lose by the second... i wont be suprised if they have to close their doors in a few years hahaha
@kudzierzny hay also if you llok at kung fu live its basically a natal game powered by the pseye for ps3 its great, also ps1 and 2 had motion controllers before the wii even did
@phatznipa66 - Kudzierzny is wrong, so you're right to attack him, but Kung Fu Live offers 2D motion tracking only (with rather poor reviews btw) whereas Kinect offers 3D motion tracking, which is a big difference. But going to the original Playstation and PS2, whilst PS2 had motion control in the form of EyeToy, there was no such device for the Playstation. However, there was Nintendo's Power Glove (released 1990) that failed to catch on and hence wasn't a success;
@phatznipa66 - Then you're both wrong :) There were no motion controllers released for Playstation anywhere in the world, it started for Sony with EyeToy for PS2. But in the end it's a moot point, because the original Playstation was released in December 1994 in Japan, whereas that Power Glove from Nintendo was released in 1990, almost 5 years before Sony entered the console market. Therefore let's stop the who copied who claims, because technology is built upon copying (and evolution). :)
@kudzierzny hay also if you llok at kung fu live its basically a natal game powered by the pseye for ps3 its great, also ps1 and 2 had motion controllers before the wii even did.
@kudzierzny Sony only had one Camera lens and it was shit. You didn't have Voice command and it just involved hand gestures, nothing about moving your whole body which kinect does. Besides.. Moving glowing balls about looks gay.
@kudzierzny Except sony didn't copy nintendo they shown a device reffered as the eyetoy wand in 2000 at a conference which use the same type of tracking used today.
@Zern227 - No, what they showed in 2000 was EyeToy tracking foam/plastic balls and wands, not a device with buttons and motion sensors. You should know that already since I'm sure you've watched videos like this before;
/watch?v=mheOtyWNjV0
Their first 'wand' patent was in 2004 for a light on a stick to overcome issues tracking coloured balls under different lighting conditions (google: 'PS2 wand 2004'). Their first wand patent featuring motion sensors was filed in October 2008, after the Wii.
@MTMind2 Well atari was the first with motion sensors not nintendo also on screen he made one of the wands dissapear with out taking it off screen. How would you do that without a button
@Zern227 - Correct, he wouldn't do that without a button, hence the button(s) is on the PS2 controller that he uses throughout this presentation - Look at 0:24 to 0:43 please :)
.
Regarding Atari, I'm not sure but I think you're referring to Le Stick (or Le Stik?). Yes you're right this came before the Nintendo's Power Glove (thanks for the reminder, Good work!), but it wasn't by Atari, it was by a company who created it for the Atari 2600 and some of the 8-bit micros I think (Commodore 64?).
@Zern227 - Since my last post I've found out it is Le Stick, created for Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 by a company called DataSoft Inc in 1981. So thanks again Zern, good info. And it acts as a reminder that ALL motion tech seen in consoles today began life before the big 3 got it. Hence Gyration are the company who desgined the motion controller that later became the Wii, 3DV and Primesense tech became Kinect, Richard Marks started working on webcam tech before he joined Sony to create EyeToy :)
@Pooverse How can they copy the concept of Nintendo when they already had a concept also they would of lost the lawsuit against them if they copied them. Also you know how many wii games are eyetoy games rip off.
@Zern227 said "How can they copy the concept of Nintendo when they already had a concept"
Because Sony’s concept did NOT include a wand that POINTS, tracks ROTATION or has a TWO-HANDED design. Those were all added to Sony's foam ball on a stick AFTER wii made them viable, popular and practical for gaming
Sony’s concept was: tracking colored ball on a stick....... NOT a motion controller with TWO pieces that also POINTS and senses ROTATION too.
@Pooverse Oh it didn't have a two hand design so Richard marks wasn't using more than one wand in the 2000 demo. Oh so he didn't use the wand in 2001 wand to control where the attack went or when he made the casting diagram on screen. Atari rotation sensor first. Sony concept was a 3D motion controller that is track by a ball. So what if they add stuff that were added to motion controllers before the wii came out its still their concept which is very different than wii.
@Zern227 said "Oh it didn't have a two hand design so Richard marks wasn't using more than one wand in the 2000 demo."
He used his second hand on a ps2 controller....to start the demo...NOT to control the action..your dumb.
ZERN SAID "Atari rotation sensor first."
LE STICK ? HA ......No it didn't...it sensed TILT..thats it!...NOT rotation....god your ignorant. And besides I'm NOT saying Nintendo was first I'm just saying Sony COPIED Nintendo.
@Pooverse Ha rotation M$ sidewinder is another example of rotation and he used 3 at once to control the function their isn't anything that similar to wii which hasn't been done before. Also Wii tracks using a camera and Eyetoy tracks kinda similar eh.
@Zern227 said "Wii tracks using a camera and Eyetoy tracks kinda similar eh."
Wii uses inferred sensor and inferred lights to manipulate the pointer. it's really just an updated Light gun. Which Nintendo had been using since the 70's. Some might call the inferred sensor a camera. But if your gonna try and say Nintendo copied the camera idea from sony, your gonna have to understand that Nintendo had been working with gaming cameras since 1998 (Gameboy camera) FOURS YEARS before eyetoy came out.
@Pooverse The Fucking GB Camera didn't serve no tracking purposes. So your point is completely invalid also why are so many wii games just shams of Eyetoy games.
ps move kind of coppied wii, and i wouldnt support any company, but microsofts kinect seems more original and better, even though you can play shooting and fighting games with move
@volvagia333 well its not an opinion with false info. technically if you already have a ps3 the move itself is cheaper. it came out not that long ago so it doesnt have that much games. actually the move controller can last up to 7 hours with one charge unlike the wii controller which last usually around 2 to 3 hours.
@volvagia333 definitely not better, and of course it has more games, move just came out... and it drains more battery because it uses a more advanced accelerometer
just to let you know, sony had this tecnology way back since the ps2 came out with the eye toy, so pretty much nintendo copy sony with the motion sensor. :)
@infoforever It is NOT the same technology... and it is copying the Wii. Just because two things are motion controlled doesn't mean they have the same kind of technology.
@kingd0d0 Ok just cause you dont like PS3 you dont have to leave shitty comments on every single video that has anything about PS3. I have xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Kinect, and i play pc games. but PS3 still has some good things to offer like free online play. So get your "fanboy" ass out of here
also i think the ps move design is just so ugly with the ball on top looks stinks,im not a fan boy but believe me you gotta try the wii remote with the motion plus,it takes your remote to about 80% of ps move recognition, also you cant add accesories with move now deal with that sony fans haha,no zappers, raquets, cue's or many other add-ons so yeah wii wins, i hope later ps3 can attach jiant machine gun to your old ugly dual shock 3 controllers for heavy harcore gamers ?Good Luck with that sony!
@kingd0d0 ps move does have accserios and it dosent need machine guns for the duel shock 3 cause it al ready has wit the navigation controller. and p.s the light is cool and works like a flash light but your wii dosent so hahaha to you and your wiimotion plus isent even acurate comared to move and wii games suck any ways and move games are already hardcore unlike the lazy so called party games (wich are so lamme) that wii has to offer.
@kingd0d0 The light up ball is how to works, (If i have my facts right, I may not) it uses camera to track the light of the ball and that how it will sense it all, and ya it is pretty ugly
@kingd0d0 uhh last time i cheched there were accessories..... like the bow, sword, raquet, and i think golf....also there is a pistor for arcade shooters and a rifle for shooter that ely on buttents and the nav controller
* Ive been doing some research and it turns out that wii copied PS move.Sony has been working on PS move since 2002 and was supposed to be released in early 2007. Nintendo found out in 2004/2005 .Nintendo released the exact replica of sonys idea back then the wii remote in 2006 so sony thought up the PS move that we have today.(Copy and paste this on other videos so every one knows the truth)
Wii ftw

Thats just because the wii's IR set-up is vastly superior to the ps moves gyro's for pointer manipulation. Developers COULD use wii's gyros for pointer control (like they do in wii sports archery or for ps move) but why, when developers can use a vastly superior IR pointer.
Pooverse 1 year ago
@Zern227 - Again, let's see what Richard has to say about that;
Google: 'Possibilities Surprises Limits Move'
Quote: "If the sphere is ever obstructed, like when a player might through their hand back while holding a Move, the controller's motion sensors kick in to approximate the position of the Move, a technique that is similar to what can be accomplished with the Wii Remote's add-on, the MotionPlus".
And Wii=sensor+wand, Move=Cam+wand. You can't use either wand on it's own to play games.

TO through Kinect in here... Kinect is NOT for core gamers... Try having a core gamer stick up for the fact that the majority of the selling games has something inline with Kinectapets...
NeotericTv1 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 - Kinect IS for core gamers, hence Forza 4, a Gears of War game, Child of Eden, Project Draco, Steel Battalion and MANY others to follow. For launch, MS have focussed on the casual (Wii) market because that's where the sales are (look at Wii sales, look at Kinect sales), and hence that's where a lot of money is to be made. Now that Kinect is out, this year we'll be seeing the core Kinect games from developers too. Anyway, both Move and Kinect are great additions to gaming.
MTMind2 1 year ago
@MTMind2 yes but have you tried those games yourself? And I review various games and I have not heard of a majority of the listed....
NeotericTv1 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 - So if you haven't heard of it, then it doesn't exist? Try google ;-) Except for Gears, those I listed were announced at E3 2010 (& Forza played).
Kinect has just launched, so for launch MS have focussed on the market with the biggest potential at present, i.e the casual (Wii) market, and from the sales of Kinect this xmas, they are succeeding. However numerous Kinect CORE games are in development, and hence many more will be announced/shown this year (including 'hybrid' games).
MTMind2 1 year ago
@MTMind2 no I didn't say that... I wanted your input on the games listed rather than Oh these games are coming out...! have you tried them... do you know for a FACT that they are the best...?
NeotericTv1 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 - What? Where did I say ANYTHING about those games being the BEST? Only fanboys say unreleased games that no-one has played are 'the best', so let's not go down that road please! I was correcting your claim that (and I quote) "Kinect is NOT for core gamers", by highlighting the FACT that there are many CORE games in development for Kinect (Codename D is another, many more to be announced). So although MS have targetted the casual market at launch, Kinect IS for core gamers too.
MTMind2 1 year ago
@MTMind2 Okay lets drop this crap... You like Xbox and I like Playstation3... I give credit to Xbox for Kinect... though I dont recomend it...
NeotericTv1 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 - Not quite, I like (and have) both 360 and PS3 and therefore I'm excited by what both motion controllers have to offer gaming (to me they're both great additions to gaming, with strengths in different areas). But yes, lets drop it and move on. :)
MTMind2 1 year ago
@MTMind2 I said I don't mind either one... I like MOVE... I have seen great things with it... I have it... Kinect is great... for voice activation and motion turn on/off... Though I didn't find the GAMING to be that addicitng... They are greater than the Wii, lets put it that way... Both have good potential... Though I didn't get the same excitment as I did with MOVE. All and all, this is MY opinion... anyone is free to think differently... We are human...
NeotericTv1 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 - I respect your opinion 100% and would never challenge your preferences :). I have no problem with some preferring Move and others preferring Kinect, my only issue was the core claim you made earlier, and I wanted to clarify that I'm a multiformat gamer interested in both Kinect and Move. Btw, I have neither controller because I'm waiting for a must-have game, i.e. a game that makes me say "Wow, I must buy Move/Kinect to play that game". Hopefully such games will arrive soon.
MTMind2 1 year ago
@NeotericTv1 why don't you recomend it? What is the bigguest fail about kinect that move doesn't have?
I mean I understand that if you don't like moving games, you don't recomend any of them, but if you like move, you'll love kinect.
It's a degree of freedom that's like.no.other. :D

JUSTINSANEpsn 1 year ago
@AaronHarvey15 Kid you have no idea what you're talking about. It's evident because you don't even know how the Wii's technology works. The camera is in the Wiimote that sees infrared LIGHT. There are no lasers involved. The sensor bar is nothing but two groups of LEDs that emit infrared light. Nintendo made their controllers the way they did so it would not be intrusive, have ease of use, be easy to accommodate multiple players, and double as a 2D style controller.

you forgot to mention that the wii only senses flicks to the right, left, up, down and twist....and it cannot track you..the only way to track a wi remote if by pointing at the sensor bar...if you cover the tip of the wii remote it will not track and if you dont face the remote forward..it wont track
AbdallahProductions 1 year ago
@AbdallahProductions Actually, it will track, but not so good. And the only reason why PSMove is slightly better is because it uses a camera.
xdlugia1 1 year ago
@xdlugia1
So common. I say something about M$ - I'm a PS3 fanboy. Seriously... =.=
PS Eye can sense more than movements. Google "Eye of Judgment" - it's pretty cool.
Move is like improved Wii-stuff and Kinect is like improved PS Eye...
Ow yea... in latest games shown for Kinect... it only detects movements...
I know what are possibilities in future... but for now it looks like a "ripoff" :p
kudzierzny 1 year ago
@kudzierzny Move is just slightly improved from Wii, Kinect in other facts is waaaaay more improved to be called a ripoff. That's just like saying that the PS2 is a ripoff from the SNES!

@kudzierzny hay also if you llok at kung fu live its basically a natal game powered by the pseye for ps3 its great, also ps1 and 2 had motion controllers before the wii even did
phatznipa66 1 year ago
@phatznipa66 - Kudzierzny is wrong, so you're right to attack him, but Kung Fu Live offers 2D motion tracking only (with rather poor reviews btw) whereas Kinect offers 3D motion tracking, which is a big difference. But going to the original Playstation and PS2, whilst PS2 had motion control in the form of EyeToy, there was no such device for the Playstation. However, there was Nintendo's Power Glove (released 1990) that failed to catch on and hence wasn't a success;
/watch?v=WYBzKFm-rd0
MTMind2 1 year ago
@MTMind2 im not attacking him im supporting him
phatznipa66 1 year ago
@MTMind2 but ps1 and 2 developed an motion controller available only in japan and it was new tech so in othewr words it was shit but it still existed
phatznipa66 1 year ago
@phatznipa66 - Then you're both wrong :) There were no motion controllers released for Playstation anywhere in the world, it started for Sony with EyeToy for PS2. But in the end it's a moot point, because the original Playstation was released in December 1994 in Japan, whereas that Power Glove from Nintendo was released in 1990, almost 5 years before Sony entered the console market. Therefore let's stop the who copied who claims, because technology is built upon copying (and evolution). :)

@kudzierzny Except sony didn't copy nintendo they shown a device reffered as the eyetoy wand in 2000 at a conference which use the same type of tracking used today.
Zern227 1 year ago
@Zern227 - No, what they showed in 2000 was EyeToy tracking foam/plastic balls and wands, not a device with buttons and motion sensors. You should know that already since I'm sure you've watched videos like this before;
/watch?v=mheOtyWNjV0
Their first 'wand' patent was in 2004 for a light on a stick to overcome issues tracking coloured balls under different lighting conditions (google: 'PS2 wand 2004'). Their first wand patent featuring motion sensors was filed in October 2008, after the Wii.
MTMind2 1 year ago 2
@MTMind2 Well atari was the first with motion sensors not nintendo also on screen he made one of the wands dissapear with out taking it off screen. How would you do that without a button
Zern227 1 year ago
@Zern227 - Correct, he wouldn't do that without a button, hence the button(s) is on the PS2 controller that he uses throughout this presentation - Look at 0:24 to 0:43 please :)
.
Regarding Atari, I'm not sure but I think you're referring to Le Stick (or Le Stik?). Yes you're right this came before the Nintendo's Power Glove (thanks for the reminder, Good work!), but it wasn't by Atari, it was by a company who created it for the Atari 2600 and some of the 8-bit micros I think (Commodore 64?).
MTMind2 1 year ago 5
@Zern227 - Since my last post I've found out it is Le Stick, created for Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 by a company called DataSoft Inc in 1981. So thanks again Zern, good info. And it acts as a reminder that ALL motion tech seen in consoles today began life before the big 3 got it. Hence Gyration are the company who desgined the motion controller that later became the Wii, 3DV and Primesense tech became Kinect, Richard Marks started working on webcam tech before he joined Sony to create EyeToy :)
MTMind2 1 year ago 10
@Zern227 The most important information you can get from this thread is this....
" Their first wand patent featuring motion sensors was filed in October 2008, after the Wii."
MEANING sony COPIED wii.
Thank you MTMIND I've been trying to pound that into ZERNS head for months.
Pooverse 1 year ago
@Pooverse How can they copy the concept of Nintendo when they already had a concept also they would of lost the lawsuit against them if they copied them. Also you know how many wii games are eyetoy games rip off.
Zern227 1 year ago
@Zern227 said "How can they copy the concept of Nintendo when they already had a concept"
Because Sony’s concept did NOT include a wand that POINTS, tracks ROTATION or has a TWO-HANDED design. Those were all added to Sony's foam ball on a stick AFTER wii made them viable, popular and practical for gaming
Sony’s concept was: tracking colored ball on a stick....... NOT a motion controller with TWO pieces that also POINTS and senses ROTATION too.
Pooverse 1 year ago
@Pooverse Oh it didn't have a two hand design so Richard marks wasn't using more than one wand in the 2000 demo. Oh so he didn't use the wand in 2001 wand to control where the attack went or when he made the casting diagram on screen. Atari rotation sensor first. Sony concept was a 3D motion controller that is track by a ball. So what if they add stuff that were added to motion controllers before the wii came out its still their concept which is very different than wii.
Zern227 1 year ago
@Zern227 said "Oh it didn't have a two hand design so Richard marks wasn't using more than one wand in the 2000 demo."
He used his second hand on a ps2 controller....to start the demo...NOT to control the action..your dumb.
ZERN SAID "Atari rotation sensor first."
LE STICK ? HA ......No it didn't...it sensed TILT..thats it!...NOT rotation....god your ignorant. And besides I'm NOT saying Nintendo was first I'm just saying Sony COPIED Nintendo.
Pooverse 1 year ago
@Pooverse Ha rotation M$ sidewinder is another example of rotation and he used 3 at once to control the function their isn't anything that similar to wii which hasn't been done before. Also Wii tracks using a camera and Eyetoy tracks kinda similar eh.
Zern227 1 year ago
@Zern227 said "Wii tracks using a camera and Eyetoy tracks kinda similar eh."
Wii uses inferred sensor and inferred lights to manipulate the pointer. it's really just an updated Light gun. Which Nintendo had been using since the 70's. Some might call the inferred sensor a camera. But if your gonna try and say Nintendo copied the camera idea from sony, your gonna have to understand that Nintendo had been working with gaming cameras since 1998 (Gameboy camera) FOURS YEARS before eyetoy came out.
Pooverse 1 year ago
@Pooverse The Fucking GB Camera didn't serve no tracking purposes. So your point is completely invalid also why are so many wii games just shams of Eyetoy games.
