I dont know why such hatred of Kanazawa, but your criticisms are unfair. First of all, if you compare his videos to those of Luca Valdesi or JKA teams you will notice that they rush through their katas as much or more than Kanazawa. In respect to his seminars, I havent attended any, but any karate seminar is more about inspiration and highlights of important points. There are no secrets that he or any other master can unveil.
On the contrary, Shotokan is a splintered martial art with different branches having different requirements. For my branch (Tabata through Obata through Funakoshi) Tekki Sandan is a blue belt kata. We simply compress the kata a lot more. We require Heian 1-5, Tekki 1-3, Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai, Jitte, Hangetsu, Empi, Gankaku, Jion, Shonokon no bo for shodan. The JKA students in the club have little difficulty catching up, shodan is still shodan, but requirements do vary.

What unnecesary movements are you referring to? Is there any place you can refer me to for your version of the kata? I'm prejudiced though. I have the utmost respect for Master Kanazawa. Osu.
valdesi is fast, but his karate doesnt feel real to me. i dont want to knock the guy because i'm sure he's a very good athlete, but it just seems that his martial arts are more for show..
yerp i would agree with you there, Valdesi is gd i will agree but he speeds things up and slows down to impress the judges, hes fast and very good, but i dont think hes a 10th dan?

You are thinking of tekki shodan. There are three tekki kata, shodan , nidan and sandan. takki nidan and tekki sandan are dan grade kata.

in the days passed in jka karate had jissen and was prcticed in jka ,today is only halfway ,not many karateka atain this level

Too many unnecessary movements, and some necessary movements are strange, like he's passing through it without "completing it completely"
