If you shoot in higher frame rates and don't slow it down, you have a lot of extra frames that leave after images of everything. especially if you use a lower end editing software. the only way around this is to slow the clip down, then cut out all the extra frames that have no movement in them. Very tedious. that's why I pick and chose what to shoot at a higher frame rate.

this is an amazing! video! been thinking about getting this camcorder because of this slow mo feature ( and the price). theres stuff im worried about tho, like the built in stereo microphone, is it good? like can u hear someone talking loud and clear? cus i wanna use it for making videos with lots of dialogue. oh and how does the camcorder do at night or lowlight? thanks. any help with be great. .... again, freaking awsome video!

The sound quality is actually pretty good, very nice and clean, it even has a zoom microphone built in that focuses the sound reception to places where you point it (if you turn it on)

It does great at night, but it doesn't have a night shot feature though. You can still see very clearly on veeery low light levels (except for slo-mo recording, slo-mo requires better lighting).
