It's scary how they can make weapons from practically nothing, and impressive in how resourceful people can be under any situation.

Also I think having a female interviewer is a good idea because the inmates won't perceive her as a threat or rival of any kind, the visiting woman is exempt from prison rules and violence. They're free to tell her things that they probably wouldn't tell a male interviewer, if that makes sense.
