  • The song at 0:50 sounds a lot like 'One More Time'. Anyone know if Daft Punk sampled Dirty House Crew's Groovin' for it?

  • @riff5fki no they sampled "Eddie Johns - More Spell on You" for One More Time

  • @doodovf ahh, thanks, they just sounded a bit similar.

  • @riff5fki Agreed

  • I figured out the sample!!!

Le Chic - I Want Your Love (sample)

My hobby is tracking down Daft Punk samples if anyone wants to trade.

  • Supposedly Daft Punk also sampled I Want Your Love for Revolution 909, although I can't hear it. I Want Your Love is an awesome track by itself too.

  • Dirty House Crew - Groovin'

  • Yes that's correct Alex, but I can tell that the Dirty House crew got the idea for that sample from the song by Chic.

  • Dirty House Crew - Groovin'

  • just understand from someone tha was there before all your rubbish hed bange gayness, they toured with the whole studio, and done something for glasgow, in scotland the country that made tem famous........ 4 bar looops..... thats all no more no less, a sign of genius

  • @Rock6well They do sample, ive seen there early videos what they used, and yes they are djing the tunes aswell, they have a sampler keyboard(ensoniq i think) hooked up with the decks what they used for looping and stuttering effects! also they often used a 909 and a filter - oh yes also sometimes they would use the top range mixers which had basic sampling and effects! Decks FX & 909!!!
