@Rock6well They do sample, ive seen there early videos what they used, and yes they are djing the tunes aswell, they have a sampler keyboard(ensoniq i think) hooked up with the decks what they used for looping and stuttering effects! also they often used a 909 and a filter - oh yes also sometimes they would use the top range mixers which had basic sampling and effects! Decks FX & 909!!!

Supposedly Daft Punk also sampled I Want Your Love for Revolution 909, although I can't hear it. I Want Your Love is an awesome track by itself too.
