@bjdm3089 He/she isn't talking about results, but on sportsmanship and kindness. Safin has had his fair share of run ins with the umpires and line judges, but he rarely swears and never threatens to shove a ball down somebody's throat. Serena is a great player, but the level of tennis and the number of quality opponents in the womens game is nowhere near the mens, plus Safin has literally missed 3 full years because of injury. He could have been one of the best.

I love Marat, but he has gone completely nuts and sworn profusely at line judges at the US Open for giving him a foot fault. that's part of who he is as well.
