I've made many variations of auto tracking turrets in gmod, but I always run into this one bloody problem where the wiremod wheel is too lanky and loose when I finish assembling the whole thing, so when it spins it gets all out-of-whack. Is there anyway to get a tighter constraint without ajusting the wheel weight (which does fix the prob but adv dupe doesn't save custom weights). Would appreciate reply.

@bmwright I haven't played gmod in years... but the only way I've fixed that problem is by making more welds (instead of welding object A to B, weld object A to B C D E F G....), and by adjusting the weight. It's an annoying problem that ruins 70% of the things I try to build.

@Valdiralita Went back and tested it, and yes adv. Duplicator does save anything done with the Weight Stool, also found out that things like the Unbreakable Stool don't work with adv dup though... :( Don't know what else does/doesn't work but I'll keep testing.

@TheDomantas If you mean your turrent keeps turning the wrong way, you need to reverse the wheel direction and it will face the right way. You may have figured that out after 2 months tho... :/

Your ranger's range may be the problem. I think you should shorten the range of your ranger or put it further from a prop/wall.

You need to weld the plate precisely onto the middle of the wheel. If its just alittle off, it goes apeshit.

Useing a saw blade as wheel helps there.

Now i know, what's to do, that the Turret shoots like in the Video. Replace the Less or Equal through Greater or Equal and the constant Value of 999 through a constant value of 0.5 ! This will work, believe me!

You do realize that replacing the value with 0.5 and wiring it to a greater or equal gate will not work, right? The way I had it set up made it so if the ranger's range is less or equal to 999 then it shoots. Now yours is if it is greater than or equal to 0.5 it will shoot (which will be constantly). So you just made a turret that will be shooting constantly regardless if there's a target there or not. And yes, I tried it.
