a lot of people, including whoever made this video, need to realize that the worlds best know drummers and the worlds best drummers are two different things. This video is the most famous drummers. I agree completely with Buddy Rich, Neil Pert and Bonham, but drummers like Benny Greb, Gavin Harrison, Thomas Lang and Danny Carey are way more creative and outstanding than Tommy Lee and Randy Castillo.

As a Rush fan, I'd have liked to see Neil Peart at the #2 spot, especially since Mike Portnoy (and all of Dream Theater) are heavily influenced by Rush. Of course, Neil himself would put Buddy Rich at the top... and after watching the video, who could argue? His solo is the best, and done without all the "bells and whistles" of modern rock drum kits. Classic.
