@Jiltedin2007 The hole was cause because of talks about a new place so the cloth was beyond it's service life by a number of years and they can always renovate the stadium with a different style roof. I"M JUST TRIED OF PAYING FOR THESE PLACES WHEN THE TEAM CAN AFFORD IT THEMSELVES!

As much as I agree that the Metrodome is a fucking toilet, you have to look at the facts. The Metrodome is what kept both the Twins and Vikings in Minnesota. Calvin Griffith was ready to pack up and set up shop somewhere else and the Vikings were no longer competing financially with the old Met Stadium. I live in New York so I'm not sure how much snow there was last year in Minneapolis. That's only during the first month of the year so I'm not too worried about games being postponed in April because that is normal.

We are two weeks into the season right now, and it is pristine baseball weather. Minnesota isn't some frozen tundra in spring and summer. Besides, if you look at attendance over the course of a season, the Twins need to please more fans than the Vikings. Besides, everyone knows the Twins are the pride of the Upper Midwest. The Vikings can barely make the state of minnesota into a fan base.
