hey hunterfishman1..im actually from south dakota..living in minnesota right now but i actually found a matching rack allready..that was last weekend over my christmas break. not sure if it was an early bloomer or what but they were less than 5 feet from eachother..pretty neat for this early in the season.
Me too! I missed my chance to go before the snow hit. now its raining here & snowing where I shed hunt. DANG! I'm still going next weekend in the snow. we dont get very much but this storm is suposed to last all week so fingers crossed It will not be too deep. good luck this season!
well im from sd so the snow gets pretty damn deep here. oh well, ill hit it late this month and early feb hard before the mice and squirrels get to em. good luck to you too
I just found a fresh set a few days ago down here in Tennessee - scored around 115" (buckmasters) 7 point - one of the first points was broken. I thought it was early too. They were several hundred feet apart.
What a bunch of crap! I've been going shed hunting for years and I have only found one nice antler. You guys found 5 in one day. Something is not right here. I bet you guys would find a 4 leaf clover in the snow.
look harder. ; ) I went out yesterday, January 5th, found 2 sheds & a broke off tip of a main beam & all of them were several years old. The deer havent even started sheding this year. if you know where deer are, you shouldnt have a problem finding them.
Most of us who find them are avid hunters
that hunt year round. I find sheds every month of the year here in CA.. theres no worse place for deer hunting than CA. so no more excuses, go find sheds in march or when the snow melts. ; )

This is a great video, it is march 8th and we still have like 5 inches of snow on the ground so i havnt got a chance to look, but when it melts, ill be in the woods looking !
are you retarded? obviously you have never been shed hunting, or know jack shit about finding them. the two that were on top of each other were not staged, that's exactly how we found them. and its not impossible at all. last year we found a pair the exact same way. a deer could swing his head onto ground both left and right to knock both the sheds off, and the tines were dug into the ground...its not impossible.
there better be some bow fishing segments this spring.
I think it would be cool if we all got together one night this summer and we went catfishing in the ohio river or at sky pay lake in ohio. Maybe there could be a striper fishing segment this spring at the greenup dam.
Just some ideas.....nothing you have to commit to but it would be cool and would give these vids a little variation in the off season instead of just all hunting all the time.
Which state were you shed hunting in?
