I just bought a refillable air horn can, not a bike mount horn. But for shits'n'giggles, i installed a 50w 115db police siren/pa system in my bike to scare
This thing is great, my friend has one, and there was a car in the bike lane and he blasted the thing and the driver left instantly, only problem is it doesn't fit on larger handlebars like most drop bar type handlebars
I installed one on my commuter bike about 45 days ago. So far 90% of it's use comes from situations in which the horn notified the other driver when they did something wrong.
Small minority of the time has worked to call attention to the other driver BEFORE they do something wrong.
All said, I really like my horn. Mere shouting doesn't even begin to get through to a driver on a cell phone. I HATE to see drivers making turns or maneuvers whilst talking on a cell phone. They may as well be drunk.
Depends on the weather, like now its between 10 and 20 degrees, so the air will last a pretty long time if I dont use it. Otherwise it is very easy to drain the tank in a short period of time
