  • I used to be a huge boxing fan but lost interest in the mid-2000's....I don't even remember hearing or seeing anything about this in the media - just shows how boxing (mainly heavyweight boxing) has gone tits up in the last decade.....look how many empty seats there are....and both guys are in there 40's! Sad.

  • It would be a good fight Adamek vs Holyfield; Holyfield vs Adamek alot of people would go to see that..Holyfiled still fighting at 48, and hes ranked at a decent spot, thats crazy.......my opinion is that he did beat Valuev and he should have been the oldest man to win the heavy weight belt.

  • steroyds well done nyger

  • dont 4get IBO held by wladimir theirs 5 sanctioning titles but yeah 2 is 1 2 many but yeah way 2 many titles

  • @wekiwisdofly - IBO is just as worthless as the WBF. What I'm saying is that the WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF belts are the four MAJOR titles. There is also the WBU, IBA, IBC, and IBU. There is actually 10 organizations sanctioning world title belts.

  • @rdsnuke really? i didnt know that, i thought the IBO was 1 of the sanctioning bodies i also didnt know there were 10 either, thanx 4 the info

  • once again the world champion?? There is FAR too many title belts. The WBF belt is not a real belt. There is the WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBF belts. Four is enough. The other dozen world title belts like what Holyfield won here, is not a proper belt.

Holyfield hasn't been the heavyweight champion for ten years.

  • @rdsnuke Holyfield beat the WBA champion. Just because he got robbed doesn't mean it didn't happen. So realistically, Holyfield is a champ.

Let's see Holyfield vs Haye and find out what's up.

  • @pearcemark2 - Well that's boxing isn't it. Holyfield did beat valuev in my opinion and was robbed. But you can't call him a five time champion by winning the WBF.

Haye would KO Holyfield. In his prime Holyfield would beat Haye, but Holyfield hasn't been in his prime since 1993.

  • @rdsnuke I don't know if Haye could do it. Toney did, but Toney was in his second prime at that point. Other than that and Bowe when Evander was supposedly sick, the dude never goes down. Since Haye doesn't seem to be interested in fighting real threats anytime soon, it seems like it would be a perfect match for him. He could KO Evander and end him the way he did Ruiz.

But maybe, he could reach deep down and pull a Hopkins and make the young guy look silly. How great would that be?

  • i know but holyfield would probably get tired and adamek would win by knockout

  • @Flores49420 It would be a good fight though, it would be a big draw Adamek vs Holyfield, expecially if Adamek beats kilichko and then gave Holyfield a title shot that would be something. But i dont think Adamek would beat Klichko; Holyfield vs Adamek alot of people would go to see that..Holyfiled still fighting at 48, and hes ranked at a decent spot, thats crazy.......my opinion is that he did beat Valuev and he should have been the oldest man to win the heavy weight belt.

  • Adamek and Holyfield should fight

  • He is called the "Real Deal" for a reason.

  • i've read about Botha and he has one of the worst jaws in the heavyweight division. and because of age, holyfield has lost some of his power. which makes botha look even worse

  • BTW - Botha has taken some of the most vicious right hands I've ever seen (see Tyson/Lewis. Klischko dropped him with a left, but the right set it up)

  • Since 1999, Holyfield is 7 Wins, 7 Losses, 2 Draws. He shows little glimpses of his former self from time to time, but he's not even close to the guy from the mid 90's. I mean, we're talking about a guy who has been past his prime for FOURTEEN YEARS (The last fight he looked good was his 2nd fight with Michael Moorer is '97) It's just unbelievable to me that he's still fighting. People have been begging him to retire for 10 years. I've never seen anything like it.

  • Botha is a chump. Holyfield needs to retire.

  • how is the full fight for this not on youtube yet

  • @ommar711 it doesnt matter if the full fight is not on youtube yet i woldnt watch two old dudes going at it just fighting for money , the heavyweight division is gone to the dogs, simple as that!!

  • if only Mike Tyson didnt go to shit, he could still be like his all time rival Evander Holyfield

  • @Dakashizzlenizzle Tyson was never in the same league as holyfield, it just took people like douglas and holyfield who could adapt to his style, taking away his role as the agressor, and he was useless. He was an outstanding puncher, but not much else.

  • I am very happy for Evander. I also wish Botha all the very best because he's a tough warrior too.

  • what round was that?

  • the best thing about holyfeild is he was never a showboater compared to these ego maniacs like david haye and the klitchscos.i say let have another shot at the title if he loses then he should call it aday.

  • shit i didnt know he still fights i honestly thought holyfield retired

  • YES HOLYFIELD

  • Holyfield is very pleasent and he had to win about the russian Valuev. It's sad because i think he can beat Vitali. Greetz from Germany

  • For a 47 year old, Holyfield is still built like a rock. Hell, he looks better than plenty of 27 year olds! Botha's a pretty tough fighter, putting him down in the eighth with one shot is pretty impressive.

  • Красава! Лысый черт!!!

  • Holyfield is older-but a bulldozer!Good bye francis! But don`t fight against the Klitschko -brothers please! They are Monsterfighters!

  • woah lik foreman.but foreman was better he defeated the heavyweight champion at the age of 45 and was the heavyweight champion.holyfield fought a contender

  • Holyfield would EXPOSE WLAD KLITSCHKO'S GLASS JAW in a very dramatic way! IF Evander catches Wlad flush, forget about counting to 10.........You would be able to count to 110!!!.....Which is why Emanuel Steward will try to steer "The Delicate Ukranian", Wlad, clear of "The Real Deal" if he can.

  • combined age of 1,000. two old fogies

  • it would be very interesting to watch HOLYFIELD vs. KLITSCHKOS...

  • @bachemaqbul You think watching him get knocked cold and put into the hospital would be interesting?

  • @Cryofax if holyfield fought vlad he'd get oupointed most likely. if there was any knocking out, though, it would be accomplished by the real deal. He's never been ko'd, whereas vladdie boy has a chin like porcelain.

  • @Robstailey Holyfield got TKO'd by both Riddick Bowe and James Toney. Too slow, no reflexes now, can't pull the trigger. Vlad's 1-2 would pummel him until either his corner threw in the towel or the ref stopped it. Even if he somehow managed to stay on his feet it would not go the distance.

  • @Cryofax prime holyfield v. vitali would make for an even fight on points. no way he'd be ko'd or even hurt. the only way holyfield was ever stopped was when he had heppatitis and got too tired(ie toney and bowe). even a glass jawed fighter like lewis could withstand vitali's best shots, and he hits better than vlad, who has an even weaker chin. if vlad fought prime holyfield, it'd end up with klit on the floor, he would just be useless in there.

  • @Robstailey I agree a prime Holyfield would fare much better or maybe even win. But we were discussing current Holyfield, who is a ghost and should retire. The guy was amazing for his day.

  • @Robstailey There's no way in hell THIS Holy could dream of beating one of the K bros. Did you see the Valuev fight? I thought Holyfield won that fight and was robbed. But fact is Valuev was so big just getting inside to land punches was near impossible for Holy. A young Holy would have KOd Valuev. But Holy threw something like 8 punches per round average. Against someone like Vitaly, Holyfield would get hurt. The commission has said they wouldn't allow a fight with either of the K bros

  • Evander has nothing to prove he should rest on his laurels.

  • Comment removed

  • @j2dhyphen

your 100% right, always has and always will be the real deal, but he needs to be remembered for his great fights with bowe, tyson lewis, ect. it would be heartbreaking for us, his fans, to see him crumpled in the corner of the ring just because nobodys got the decency to tell him times up.

  • If the pitiful sight of Ali is not enough to make Holyfield realise the danger of fighting at such an advanced age and taking too many shots, then the boxing authorities should intervene. Ok, he needs money, but whats the use of being the wealthiest man in the cemetary ?

  • that's where i was sitting except on the other side of the ring. it's a shame only 3000 attended the fight when tix were only $28.

  • Holyfield is one of my all time favourite boxers but he's proved what he can do, I feel he's only fighting to sort out his finances and it would be a shame to see him get hurt. That said, I'd love him to knock Harrison out, he get's lucky against Sprott and thinks he's the best in the world again. Holyfield would destroy him.

Haye vs. Holyfield would be a waste of Haye's time. He's gonna retire when he's 31 so he needs to get fighting the Klitchko bros.

  • Holyfield needs to retire, and he has nothing to prove. What does beating Botha at this point really prove? No knock against Botha, I really liked his fights against Michael Moorer and Mike Tyson, but he is a non-entity at this point. A Holyfield-Botha fight would have been interesting 10+ years ago, but not now.

  • if holyfield does not retire soon he will end up getting hurt and it will all have been for nothing, he does not need to prove him self anymore..

  • @ballymoteboxer - he's broke and nes the money

  • wow it looks like hes fighting mr belding....both need to retire

  • boxing in the usa is like a big show. you can compare to wrestling. who ever has the best reputation or would brings the highest profit is the winner. the judges always get paid in big fights.

  • Botha just looks like a fat man.

  • isen`t klitscko the HW champion ?

  • @sirk79, Yeah, the Klitschkos are the top two heavyweights. Personally, Wladimir, I would place as number one. Holyfield is WBF titlist, not the world champion.

  • @AlexK1986 wlad might be number one but haye has more chance against him than vitali.

  • @badintentions2 I agree with that. Haye knocking out or stopping the fragile Wladimir is a perfectly feasible scenario. Vitali, however, despite being less skilled than his younger brother, would be too tough and sturdy for Haye to put away. Vitali by a mid-round stoppage.

  • do they make these titles up ,,,WBF?? ,,,hows botha fit to challenge for any title ,,,me thinks the champs nowdays only pick there fights ,hence they fight bums most of the time . ruiz v haye etc ,,,how the hell was ruiz a top contender ,,he lost 3 of his last 6 fights b4 he fought haye .i like holyfield but he should retire ,,cos he mite get a shot and get hurt bad,,only other decent fighter out there is tua ,,,,he seems to be frozen out of the division ,when it comes to title shots .

  • @sirk79 the legit one, yes. boxing is probably the only sport in the world that gets ruined by federations supposedly supporting it. too many belts, too mant federations.

  • whooooo daaannnggg!

  • Before taking MAXGXL Evander said he couldn't even hit a heavy punching bag because of the pain. He says the product makes him feel like he is 30 years old again. His explosiveness in the 8th mirrors what others athletes and boxers are saying that it gives them incredible stamina. Sugar Shane Mosely is another huge proponent (unpaid) of this product. stevenkeller net

  • Evander had the stamina because he takes MaxGXL!!!

  • Haye vs Holyfield

  • @NinjaRiise Haye's to fast, holifield wouldn't get a shot it. ruiz has beaten holyfield. look how ruiz did against haye.

  • holyfield looks half decent still, don't think he'd live with haye tho

  • good stuff

  • great video, thanks.

  • es uno de los mas grandes de todos los tiempos, grande

  • Botha has good fundamentals but a suspect chin

  • This round was intense watching it with the Holyfield's in Atlanta. Great job posting it...

  • Man your camera is crystal clear...we sure could of used you back in the bootleg movie days...lol

  • Yeah thanks for putting this on. I thought it was kind of odd Holyfield came out of retirement. He probably really needed the cash. I guess he has lots of children from many different woman. I really like Holyfield, he seems like a very nice man. Not the brightest man, but one American badass. I am glad he still has a marketable name.

  • Thank you for putting this on view. It is sad to see a great fighter still in the ring at this age. Good luck

  • Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield looked good. I agree with everyone it's time to retire. There's nothing left to prove. Great video thank you for posting.

  • Francois was looking a little chubby. Evander didn`t look bad and is in awesome shape for a 47 year old. Other heavy weight fighters should take his example and get their fat asses in shape. Evander should still retire though before his brains really get scrambled.

  • It's Nice To See Evander Win A Title Again.. Now RETIRE!!! LOL

  • Good video. I was so impressed with his jab and determination. I have been a fan since 1984 and I am 38 years old. You tend to follow your fighters until the last bell. He and Shane are my cats man. I will watch them no matter what. Good luck champ and thanks for still bringing the pain.

  • Has anybody ever heard of HGH......

  • @guttamonsta i think u meen SGH or SDH. HGH is just natural, your own, of from others (pretty dangerous but cheap). he is probably taking some roids, but who cares, u think people like haye, klitscho, of usain bolt aren'T taking that shit???

  • was this the first round?

  • it was in the 8th round

  • And thats why hes called the real deal!! 47 and still knocking guys out in style!!

  • Its amazing how many people dont give him credit for what hes done.

He always seems to bring a smile to people watching. How many boxers stay in shape like him ? Infact 95 percent of young heavyweights now dont come close to being in the shape of Evander. Hes not far off 50, so he aint doing to bad. After watching ordinary harrison against sprott, i would say the old man would take Harrison to school. If Evander was getting beaton big style every time, then yes he should retire, but he aint.

  • @popletsog We want to see Adamek vs Holyfield

  • Holyfield is a physical marvel...still has the boxing ability and top notch physique at age 47. With that being said, he needs to retire. lol

  • @IceveinsProductions I agree, the cut off age for boxing should be 39 years old. Bcuz Holyfield has the heart of a champion, he will never give up until he's either paralyzed or dead. Why a law hasn't been passed yet to protect him from himself is beyond me.

  • @IceveinsProductions i want to see Tomasz Adamek vs Holyfield

  • Awesome For A 47 Year Old LOL
