No offense but if Lana died it would been better in the long run for Clark. He spent so much time going over "what could be" and "she could never know the truth about me" it de-evolved into a superpowered version of Dawson's Creek.

When Lana eventually left the show got better for it. It became more about Clark then rather than 'Clana'*.

*Granted some of you won't share my views, even dislike me for it but for me it got old fast. It was only the other characters that helped me. (I.e. Chloe)

SHe wasn't in season 9 but she didn't die, cause later a luthorcorp project is performed on her and she gets powers like clarks. Then she sucks in all this kryptonite kinda, and although it doesn't affect her, it hurts clark everytime he goes near her, so they say there goodbyes and that's that. End of Lana, she goes forever, but you never know she might come back in season 10. I highly doubt that though

Beh,sì quella puntata è la + quotata dai fan! E' quella in cui Clark si ritrova davanti alla tristezza di sapere di aver potuto salvare la donna della sua vita ma ora è stato il padre a pagarne le conseguenze e sa che non può DAVVERO fare + niente per cambiare le cose (visto che Jor-El lo aveva avvertito che ci sarebbe stato un solo cristallo e che doveva scegliere cautamente!) Anche per me è la + bella anche se io sono innamorata della season 2! ^^ Grazie delle stelline! =D

i think whenever smallville ends they should change the ending to lois dying lana cumming back,,clark fulfilling his destiny nd then uses BLUE K to take his powers away them when he gets close to lana it wont weaken him..nd then finally they can be together.
