  • I wonder if Galen Govier has accounted for the HemiCuda in this promo or not?

  • uh the music was inputed by the guy who uploaded this! looking at the age of the FILM, the sound would be grainny sounding with fuzzy background noises! and these promo whould have a narrator not just music!

  • with songs like this in advertisements who wouldn't buy this car

  • this is a dealer promo movie for the sales man to watch , God I miss these cars !

  • M.O.P.A.R. "Move Over Pontiacs Are Racing" Ha, ha, ha.

  • Today my boss asked if I'd like to drive the same car for 40 years. I said hell yes if it was a 'Cuda

  • hey put that hammer down

  • oh man this song and this car amazing!

  • SteppenWolf is a great band !

  • MOPAR or no car !

  • wrong, hemi had more power .forget about factory ratings.

  • 1970 was the peak of american muslce....the car with the highest factory rated horsepower engine of any muslce ever made would be the

1970 chevelle ss 454 LS6.....sorry... there is no competion when it comes to the chevelle

"performance starts a soon as you are seated" from a 1970 chevelle ad...

  • The 70 Cuda is in my opinion the best looking one. I like the clean lines and the un cluttered look of the front and back end.

  • haha....some guy below is saying the 426 Hemi is "overrated". Haha. Yep, that's why all Top Fuel engines (8,000hp) are based on the Hemi design. Definately overrated. Geez, they should've just used the 318 poly as a base.

  • i own a 70 burnt orange roadrunner, when you look at these cars, these are pieces of american art, that we will never see again........................when i die, i am going to be creamated, put in the ash tray of my runner and have it welded shut, then me and the car in the ground..

  • Sure don't make em like this anymore.

  • Boy, if only I could find an unmolested base or Gran Coupe. Sadly, many were chopped up for parts, or made into 'Cuda clones.

  • i never understood the 426 facination. i would rather have a 440 car with a mere 40 horse less and save $100,000 and not feel guilty for driving it. or better yet a 318 equiped car and rag the living shit out of it

  • that 40 horses your giving up was really more like 100 and all of the potential of having a hemi ie the ability to make 700+ hp with a little tuning. and nothing sounds like a hemi

  • @imjustborddude nope only 40 horse difference. and a 440 can be made 800 parts with add ons without decreasing its vallue. 426=overated

  • @imjustborddude Chrysler never changed the engine's advertised horsepower and torque ratings, which stood at 425 hp at 5000rpm and 490 foot-pounds of torque at 4000 rpm. Although, it became common knowledge that Chrysler had grossly underrated the Hemi. There have been tests that have produced results closer to 550 horse power and higher torque production. Getting to "700+ Hp with a little tuning" I don't really get. I suppose that it all depends upon what you mean by (a little tuning).

  • @markbotv3 ..dAAHHHHHHHHH. PROB, CAUSE YOU NEVER DROVE ONE....

  • this car was sold at Barrett-Jackson for 6 figures

  • best car eva

  • no that would be the 71, best car eva!!!

  • 1:18 Dodge Charger

  • Yeah.

    1969 Dodge Charger 500.

    and 1:39.

You can see 1969 Plymouth B-Body and 1969 Hurst Olds

  • in the background

  • indeed the cuda was born to be wild AAR ORANGE CUDA FTW

  • my uncle has a cuda with 2 tanks of nitro. he races it. it only hits 127 but it gets there hella fast.

  • wow I love 'Cuda's however i can not lie to you guys i would rather have the Green roadrunner in part 3

  • I love the Hemi Cuda. But what is the second song that plays after "Born to be wild?"

  • That's Tommy James and the Shondells, title of song is "Mony, Mony"

  • thats the same car coop has in megas xlr lol

  • True...totally forgot bout that show lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Flashbacks! The second one they show is a Gran Coupe and I had one in high school('82 graduate). Aside from the wheel covers, mine looked EXACTLY like that one, right down to the color. I miss that car a lot and wish I'd never been such an idiot to sell it in the mid 1980's.

  • I had a blue Gran Coupe with a white vinyl top and drove it in 82' goin to high school in Indy. It was a 383 2-bbl but it was cool with the overhead console. I really loved that car.

  • Two Gran Coupe's in high school in '82! Mine was a 383 4brl, 4 speed, and no power steering. My arms STILL hurt! This was in the Wausau WI area (central WI). Right in the heart of salt country.................(RUST)

  • I think this is the second 70 HemiCuda built.

It was in one of those Muscle Car magazines.

  • flat black '70 with a 440, 4 speed and blow the doors off that bitch...my dream...

  • I love 'cuda!

  • lol at the dude with the hammer.

  • *drools* i love cudas

  • No kidding man, My dream car there, 70 cuda with a 440 and a sixpack. First thing I'd do with it if I got one, take it downtown, Pop in a Heart CD at a stoplight, play barracuda, and peel out when it turned green. CUDA BABY!

  • ALL HAIL KING CUDA!!!

  • no don't hail it you might scratch it!! just look at it and think holy shit that is a sexy car.

  • indeed

  • Smart guy> How do you know 440 six pack is better than hemi??? Right now the whole world bow to the HEMI 'cudas but you want wedge!!!! Good stuff.

  • Well, if that was an insult buddy, it really sucked. I saw a badass Super Bee the other day driving on the Highway, there's a new muscle car show room in SC and you could see it from the highway. All the cars in there looked like they just rolled out the factory. I think it's Classic Muscle of South Carolina.

  • you mean stereo 8 deck don't ya?

  • is this your music, or was this the way chrysler made this commercial??

  • chrysler made this commercial.

  • thanks man.

  • @goyim1999 This is a promotional film rather than a TV commercial, and BBD&O, the agency representing Chrysler-Plymouth, would not have used this music. The original soundtrack narration is missing. But, it is good to see the video portion at least!

  • THERE IS A GUY COPING YOUR VIDEO CHECK IT OUT.... HIS NAME IS//////Lospttad
