yea, im also using it for revision purposes for my GCSE's. Words tend to catch your attention and distract you but instrumental glory like this puts you in the zone, its about the only thing that helps me work because i have a terrible attention span, bit of a day dreamer, i use instrumental for doing that too

I find it amazing how this song can be interpreted in so many ways.

Happiness, sorrow etc all could be placed on this song.

For me it holds a mix of emotions as I had put on this song just before I went to put my beloved dog and pal down.

Ya, I find a lot of post rock to be amazing in this way too. Its beyond happy and sad, it affirms so much more than the simple emotions we are spoon fed by most entertainment. Ya, God hears you through music. Music can make us honest, and when we are honest we know that God is listening. But he is listening all the time. There is nothing in your heart that is hidden from him.

I agree. It gives me such an emotional response I don't know whether it's happy or sad. I think both. What I do recognize is the atmosphere GiaA gives me when I listen to this or any song by them. It sounds weird but I imagine standing along on a totally cold icy planet, with a massive vista of galaxies, nebulae and stars above me in the purple sky, with the sun setting to the West lighting up the icy mountains into an orange glow, but with a difeerent sun rising to the East, warming my back. excellent, saw these guys at the solas festival in carlow on the 16th august and it was worth going to the festival just to see them. I can stick watching this version more because the original breaks my heart. but i wish the best for this highly origianl and intelliagent band and the fact they're irish makes me proud, gorget the blizzards and director and even fight like apes, these guys are the business.
