  • I like the video & the information, but the music is distracting.

  • were you able to shave after?

  • How do you go about your skincare routine with the pain an unevenness caused by the TCA? Do you just stop washing your face for the week or something? I think I'm going to get MUAC's 55% lactic acid to try to get rid of some pigmentation and mild sun damage, but would you also recommend the 8% TCA?

  • Hey Juston great video!I started with the 12.5% then I moved to the 18%.That 18% was really strong and I could feel it working right away.Still undergoing process of peel.So far my nose especially is really soft and shiny.I also tried that pumpkin peel that you did and ur right it smells kind of good like cake batter and I really like it.Great reviews!p.s to anyone thinking about doing it they deliver priority mail in the US for free!

  • i really wanna try this im gonna start with 12% then move to either 8 or 21

im hoping this wil work for my acne scars both just the dark spots n pitted kinds

  • good video but the music is too loud. thanks i enjoy your vids

  • Cool.I am going to try this TCA Peel on the hyperpigmented areas of my skin. I love the choice of music.BTW..... Geez your attractive. :)

  • i dont know if makeupartistchoice is a fraud or scam site because when i placed an order with my credit card number it said it declined but they prob still have it

  • @ThatsSaucey hey, i've ordered from them before and got my order with no problems. i hope this helps

  • I love the TCA peel. I have dones them and they really work. and cheaper then what a doctor would do. out here in NY they can cost up to $1200 at a doctors office. and they would do the same thing you can do at home...

  • maybe my skin is different but its not wrinkling at all just dark..very dark...its day two after a 50% TCA

  • I have bought the tca and the jessner peel from makeupartistchoice, but I have to say they are both very weak. All the 21% tca did to my skin after proper application was, to turn it red a bit, but no peeling or flaking what so ever. The jessner seems better to me, although it stinks and after the first application I literally got dizzy and weak, with a bad headache for hours. I dont know if it really is as pure as it should be when you buy stuff from these on-line places.

  • i haven't tried these peels yet. i did contact MAC and asked for their advice. i want to try the TCA peel. i want to get rid of acne scars.. i was kind of surprised to see someone so young using peels. no offense. i'm 29, but look like i'm in my thirties, i hope these peels change that.. thanks for the video.

  • hii ..i did the 24% tca peel .. and i really feel like i burnt my skin. ..i been put vaseline ..because usually i know when u get burnt from anything u put vaseline .. but im not sure if im going about it correctly ..can u help me out .. what should i be applying.. im runing away from scaring the skin more & i have no idea what to do...plz get back to me ASAP..thank youu

  • Your videos are seriously awesome. Thanks for the info. I ordered the 40% lactic acid peel and the 8% TCA peel. I like the LA peel, but I am going to try the TCA soon. :-)

  • it burned....ouch!!!! how long did you keep the peel on??

  • from where i can buy this in uk? plz tell me as from website its very expansive when it comes to postage charges, which are 30 $ as price is just 20$,so i want to save the postage charges, plz reply me

  • I did a test part, and it is taking weeks so far to peel. I see they say something about baking soda but I didnt do that part, cause I didnt see you do it.

  • Follow the instructions included with your peel.

  • Ditto 2776db!

  • i was thinking about trying the 12.5% out. i was wondering when you first used this product, did it reveal new blemishes/breakouts?

  • If you have darker skin PLEASE be very careful as chemical peels - TCA and deeper can cause a permanent loss of pigmentation, i.e. white spots that will not go away.

  • for real even if you get the lowest does?

  • @2776db or BROWN spots that will not go away. When people ask what peels to try, I recommend all else before TCA. It's just a little too strong for at home usage in my opinion.

  • @skineficial I just did a 12% TCA peel and I'm FREAKING OUT. I think I may have just bleached my skin. I've been using a 70% lactic acid peel, but I've never had an instant reaction as I've just done with the 12% tca. I only left it on for 1 minute and washed it cuz my skin turned white. This is scary. Idk, I guess I'm looking for moral support. Yea I'm a big baby :(

  • all these questions and no replies

  • well I don't get paid for this...and I have a life.

  • @skineficial lol

  • Your skin looks really great, but im sensitive bout my skin nd wut goes on it, is there any product thats not so drastic as a acid or something more simple?

  • Thanks so much for your video! Great results! :)

  • Awesome video, thanks for the great review!

  • can you tell me how long your downtime was & how often did you do it?

  • i did it ... it also depends on skin typ if u hav dry skin then 4 days it peels of .. if u hav oile skin it takes 7 days ...

  • Are you that dense? It was SEVEN days!

  • omg i really need to know if i can order this to australia , Melbourne to be egzact thnx for yur time :)

  • after peeling isn there any cream that need to be put on ??

  • never the less good job, how about making a video where you actually apply it, it is nice to have a hands on video demonstration.

  • it took me the whole half bootle to see the result cuzz i use the 12.5 i guess i should use a much higher peeling power. but my skin is better, and acne scar did reduce a little so it work but slowly.

  • how is it now the acne scars i meen?

  • can you use 12.5 tca peel on acne skin

  • Can you wash your face over the 7 day period while your skin is still in the process of peeling?

  • @theBoAtimes The TCA peels from MUAC come with a green tea cleansing bar that is excellent! I highly recommend purchasing TCA kits from them.

  • does it get rid of ice pick acne scars permanently??????

  • yes it does but it may take more than one treatment

  • thanx, but how do you lower the strength

  • You're so gorgeous. I love your voice.Thankyou for the advice.

  • Wow, his skin is beautiful.

  • Hey this is Davida, any way I ordered the 12.5 peel from MUAC and I was going to make a video as a thanks to you. I had really bad acne growing up. An now that I am older 20 I have alot of dead skin and hyperpigmentation. But I never got a peel because I new that there had to be a way that I could do it my self. So I started looking. Then I found you who explained every thing that I needed and the main thing where to get the Peel solution. My B4 thank you video will be up in 2days.

  • I am also a big fan of TCA and Makeupsartistchoice and I also love your detailed reviews of their products. Nice!!!

  • omg u look just liek borack obama!!!

  • 3:55 was reassuring,thanks.

That's exactly how my skin is looking approx 2 hours after 40% peel (I'm way older than you lol)

  • Oops,my mistake,it 30% sorry.I had 40 on the mind from the last video I watched.

    You look great :-)

  • that's gross, your skin peeling off. what's the point you got beautiful skin.

  • to review it lol

  • Hi, you have good skin and are a bit young to start with the TCA peels. Much more skin friendly and very effective are the different alpha and beta hydroxy acids. If used regularly from once a week to once a month they can give fantastic results. Use up to 20% salicylic/mardelic acid and 30-40 % glycolic/lactic acids. Try out the different acids there are several. They can even be combined to soot different types of skin. Well worth checking out and much more skin friendly in the long run :-)

  • i have used the tca peel 18% thursday morning and its friday and my skin do not even peeling... it dont feel like it got anythin on it either...is this a bad thin?

  • It looks good but I personally think you had beautiful skin to begin with.

  • Thank you!... I can never find good information on peeling for people with darker skin- there's always all this panic of "don't use any peels because it will cause get dark marks!" and stuff. Thanks for the info.

  • For a guy, can you put this on your beard area?

  • I think I put on too much or left it on too long. My skin is a very dark red/brown. This isn't going to scar is it? Another big problem: I put this on Saturday night. I thought the downtime would just be when my skin was peeling which wouldn't be for a few days, but the downtime started the next day. Tomorrow is Monday and I have to go to work, but I can't go to work like this. On what day did these red welts start to fade?

  • The instructions as well as my review on this peel state that the downtime is no less than 4 days. If you watched my review, you would see that I had reddish brown patches of unsightly peeling skin. I don't know what to tell you except following the instructions is imperative.

  • I had done the peel before and just had rough slightly brownish skin the following days, not this large red welt. I thought this time would be the same. I don't think I waited long enough between peels. My previous TCA was 2 1/2 weeks ago.

It has now been about 40 hours post peel and the welt around my eye is very very red. Was this the case with you (it's hard to tell from the video) and should I worry about scarring?

In the meantime, I think I will wear a Bandaid over it.

  • @ping1200 lol

  • I have only ONE specific acne scar from a cyst i got on my nose is a little noticable and a little deep, its a bumpy scar, will TCA work on that kind of scars?. ill probably buy the 30%TCA and dilute it to make a 5%TCA and work myself up slowly, Good, no good?. Please answer :)

  • I would try a lactic acid peel before going to a peel as strong as the TCA.

  • Hey :waving: I used the 8% about 2 weeks ago and there is still some slight peeling but nothing obvious. I read that this peel is so mild it can be used weekly. It's been 2...Do you think it's safe to use again at this time? Or should I wait? Just wanna know what you think before making a decision

  • What do you use to apply the chemical to your face? I had a couple glycolic acid peels done and the esthetician used these long cotton swab applictors, like long wooden q-tips(with cotto on the end of course)and kinda brushed it on my face with that.

Do you have any or have had any acne scars that were like boxcar type? Does this help with indented scars? Great videos by the way. I was nervous but wanted to buy from MUAC but have hesitated until now.

  • You can use your finger tips or a cotton swab. I'm not sure what you mean by boxcar type. and I don't think peels help with indented scars but I'm not 100% sure.

  • Ice pick scars - Deep pits, that are the most common and a classic sign of acne scarring.

Box car scars - Angular scars that usually occur on the temple and cheeks, and can be either superficial or deep, these are similar to chickenpox scars.

Rolling scars - Scars that give the skin a wave-like appearance.

I think it helps a little from what I have read as long as they aren't too deep. I was just wondering if you had "real" scars or just hyperpigmentation.

  • Oh. Got ya. Yes I have (had, rather) real scars before using this peel and it lightened up the marks from them.

  • just to touch on your comment. I've used the 12% tca peel and they do actually help with acne scars. The peel you should be using for deep acne scars are tca cross-peels. Its a method used to treat acne scars..

  • Ok so you are saying they do help with maybe minor atrophic(indented) scars? But, if I have ones that are deep I should do a cross peel? Mine are actually pretty superficial although visable especially when I look at the sides of my cheeks in certain lighting. I have been using .1% Tazorac and it is very slow to work but I have noticed an improvement in some bumps underneath the skin and pore size and some minor scarring. I need to supplement with some peels I think. I might have to do a laser.

  • I just bought this peel b/c of your video, but I'm a little scared to try it.

How do you nuetralize after rinsing the peel off?

  • You don't rinse this peel off actually. It is self-neutralizing. Make sure to let MUAC that Skineficial sent you!!

  • This is the best company to buy from and will only buy TCA from their company. Nice review too!!

  • What's the difference between a peel and an exfoliant?

  • The short answer is that a peel is a one-time use thing and an exfoliant implies many usages - most often twice a day.

The long answer is A peel is a CHEMICAL derivative usually. Such as glycolic, lactic, trichloracetic, or salicylic acid. An exfoliant is usually a face scrub or mask that has microbeads in it designed to "rub away" dead skin cells. A peel is used less often and is more powerful than an exfoliant.
