  • really cool version of the song, your voice and accent fits it very well. Also, I've learned some new verses ;)

  • very good ladd

  • Ahhh I love it. Erin go bragh!

  • Thank you, this is a great rendition of this song. Excellent! Now i want to learn how to play that.. !!

  • WoW , I really like how you sing it :)

  • Sounds good man... yea a lot of these people are assholes. who gives a crap if your accent isn't perfect, its an irish song why not sing it with an irish accent? just sounds better that way anyway...

BTW looking at the music you wrote there... I know there are more chords that you are playing than you have listed there. What is this one chord looks like it involves a 4th fret low E and a few others. I didnt really look at it too closely just wondering if off the top of your head you know it.

  • really like it.

  • Major respect :)

    I love your accent :D

  • great rendition, really like it.

    only criticism:

its not pronounced {kwe} for quay, its pronouned [ke] forget the 'w' sound and its perfect (thats how we say it in Ireland, where the song is from)

  • nice played.,

    like the strumming pattern.. :-)

  • Brilliant! what is the strum patern here tho?

  • Cool rendition of Star of the County Down

Hope you will ignore some of the ill founded negative comments you may receive. Your rendition is most agreeable.

    Best

    David

  • I did it specifically to annoy you.

  • @GaeGoGi lulz. Good version mate! Trying to learn the strum pattern. I like it!

  • @salcs777 because its a fucking awsome song and you are a dickhead

  • This is the style I like the most. I think I can learn this now... Thanks!

  • very cool!!!!!!

    I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really really good. only one thing.. quay is pronounced key, or in ireland kay. very good, very lively.

  • Must agree. Sounds great, but quay pronunciation sounds odd.

  • D'oh! I just assumed "quay" would have to rhyme with "bay." Thanks for the correction.

  • ;-) you're a babe....

  • This was amazing. I loved it and you have some serious talent

  • you are awesome.
