@SBrandon562 They did not have a gt500 since 1969(and some of '70) until 2007. 1971-2006 did not have a GT500. The new one was released first in 2007. Oh and I know it obviously isn't Top Gear, but the title says otherwise "Top Gear - Ford Mustang GT 2005". I was correcting the uploader and succeeded. You on the other hand need to know what you are talking about before correcting other people.

The biggest difference is that the Mustang GT has a 4.6L V8 with 300 bhp @ 5750 rpm and 320 lb-ft. @ 4500 rpm. Whereas the Shelby GT 500 has a bigger Supercharged 5.4L V8 with 500bhp and 510 lb-ft

The Ford Mustang has different grades. Theres a Base V6, and theres the Cobra and the Shelby and the GT500 too that are all V8's.

That car that you are watching is a MUSTANG that is a Shelby...

the only thing the gt500 borrows from the mustang is the chassis.

the engine is a 5.4,different from the 5.4 in the mustang cobra,the body panels are all different,the suspension is different,the transmission,bakes,wheels,seat­s, hell even the damn steering wheel is different!
