All these people trying to get you to buy their product make me laugh, anyone with half a braincell could figure out how to lose weight and get a 6 pack abs, spending money on personal trainers and weight loss supplements is totally unnecessary.
Umm, just an fyi, you can't work your "lower" abs..... your six pack is all one muscle called the Rectus abdominus. The only thing you can do is eat healthier, but most importantly, EAT LESS.

@TheBakerboy12 Don't start a diet with 15, that's my suggestion... but depend of ur actually diet you could start by removing fizzy drinks, reduce/remove fast food from it etc..
But you're too young to start w/ a serious diet in my opinion, because u are still on growing age.

I've been studying the topic of weight loss for about 10 years now (I'm a personal trainer for a living) so I think I can shed some light on the topic.
HOW TO LOSE FAT
1) Cut out carbs in the evenings (eat "low glycemic" carb sources in the day).
2) Choose the exercises that burn the most calories (NOT sit ups and curls). Squats, Lunges, Pull Ups etc. are great examples.
3) Use the software and meal plans from FatLossCustomized. com
I like how Adrian shows you how to do simple exercises, because not everyone can afford a gym membership. Does that mean that you should not exercise?

Six pack abs are mainly based on body fat percentage not abdominal exercises. Do cardio. although there is an exception. Like me (ectomporph). I began with a low BF%, but still couldn't see them. This is due to the lack of muscle volume ectomorphs generally have.
Thanks for all your comments. If you think you can work lower or upper parts of the muscle seperately then please don't let me stop you. It's just not how the body works. There are many, many years of gym myths......
@ccpbass hey man let's see your abs, plenty of people work their abs but can't get the lower two toned. This is their solution it actually does work, although it's not the most effective way to tone the lower abs.
How the hell does that work? The rectus abdominus is one muscle. It shortens across it's length like all muscles and it's responsible for flexing the lumbar spine. You can't work the 'lower abs' any more than you can work upper or lower calf.
Please, stop this nonsense and learn how the body works.

@CCPbass You should look into anatomy books a little bit more. Yes, it's true, rectus abdominis (not abdominous) muscle is one muscle BUT it's divided into segments by tendinous intersections and linea alba + it's innervated by 8 sources. If the muscle was either 100% on or 100% off then we'd have problems with everyday activities. Depending on your position and the degree/type of forward flexion you'll work out what people call "upper" or "lower abs".
He is actually using his hip flexors to move his legs, if he lay flat and kept his feet to the ceiling, pushing his heels to the ceiling he would be isolating his lower abs..Um by the way I am a NASM Certified personal trainer.
@lanapumpsiron I was thinking the same thing while watching the video but wasn't sure till I read your comment. I tried the exercise you recommended and its so much better. You should put up vids for various exercises.
The dude in the video is accelerating the exertion phase of each movement way too much. Much better results if you keep it slow and steady...true with just about every exercise in the gym, not just the ab exercises---unless you're doing plyometrics.
unfortunately there is no such thing as spot fat removal. the only thing that burns fat is cardio and a healthy diet. all of the crunches in the world will not give you a visible six pack if you live at taco bell and buger king all the time.
NEED ADVICE! How do i loose belly weight? I've lost more than 20kilos in a year, now i weight 85kilos height 185cm. I've started running 5 months ago, was barely able to run 2km, now i cover an avarage of 15km/day at ~1:20 (33.5km in 3:04's the record so far), i also do abs workouts 3-4 times a week, as well as pushups and pullups. My upper body starts to look good, manboobs (lol) almost gone and i can see the muscle shape being fromed, but ffs NOTHINH happens to the damn belly fat!

@tidushello u need to incorporate sprints. And u need to jog 5-6 minutes then run as fast as u can for 1 minute and then go back to joging and cool down. Oh and sprints engages ur abs especially ur lower abs
@xLosxAngelesx I'm not sure what exactly you mean... you can't isolate the lower part of the abs because it's all one big muscle and always works as a whole, it never works in parts
I don't want to have a six pack but only the "cut" in the middle of the stomach, just like other kids at school that are into football and running and that kind of sports with allot of running...
@carlosasaur doin sport will workout your body and some sports your bones to.. just dont train to much in your growing age (your sound like you wanna grow bigger?), because then your body cant grow...

ok, to ppl that dont understand, there is no progressions to an 8 pack. thats genetics. ur either born with a 6 pack or an 8 pack. u cant get a 6 pack n turn it into an 8 pack. one is not better then the other, theyre just different. be happy with what god gave u n make the most out of it.
@cerberusxpearl it's not genetics. Wherever you got that from. It's true however that some people can never advance to a 8 or even a 6 pack simply because they store most of their bodyfat in the stomach area. They can get down to 2% bodyfat and it would still be 2% in the stomach area and covering up their 6/8 pack. For most people this is not the case and the way for them to get abs(6 or 8) is simply to lose bodyfat and lots of it.

I found that doing hanging leg raises on the popular 'iron gym' doorway bar works upper and lower abs to the max. Check out my abs, i never do crunches or sit ups.
@inshape4u I know that it's impossible to get a flat nice abs in such a short period of time, BUT how many abs sit ups will I need to do per day to see some results in one month. 100? 200? How many is too many and how many is too much? Thanks in advance.
@Annazayla The abdomen area has lots of muscles. So it doesn't matter how many reps you do in a day. The more reps you do, the better and faster you will see the results.

If the muscle was either 100% on or 100% off then we'd have problems with everyday activities. Depending on your position and the degree/type of forward flexion you'll work out what people call "upper" or "lower abs".

He is actually using his hip flexors to move his legs, if he lay flat and kept his feet to the ceiling, pushing his heels to the ceiling he would be isolating his lower abs..Um by the way I am a NASM Certified personal trainer.

The dude in the video is accelerating the exertion phase of each movement way too much. Much better results if you keep it slow and steady...true with just about every exercise in the gym, not just the ab exercises---unless you're doing plyometrics.

unfortunately there is no such thing as spot fat removal. the only thing that burns fat is cardio and a healthy diet. all of the crunches in the world will not give you a visible six pack if you live at taco bell and buger king all the time.

NEED ADVICE! How do i loose belly weight? I've lost more than 20kilos in a year, now i weight 85kilos height 185cm. I've started running 5 months ago, was barely able to run 2km, now i cover an avarage of 15km/day at ~1:20 (33.5km in 3:04's the record so far), i also do abs workouts 3-4 times a week, as well as pushups and pullups. My upper body starts to look good, manboobs (lol) almost gone and i can see the muscle shape being fromed, but ffs NOTHINH happens to the damn belly fat!

The reason i've started running was to loose belly weight, but that plan failed (though i rly can't imagine my life now without running, kinda addictive xD). So i'm rly confused now, and have no idea what to do :( I keep away from junk food as much as possible, and try too keep a balanced diet. so i rly n eed some HELP T.T

@tidushello ......lipo, if your not that fat and are close to what you wanna look like then a small lipo procedure will get that pouch quick and easy. After that its all maintenance. Its easier to keep what you already have then it is to get there.

@tidushello u need to incorporate sprints. And u need to jog 5-6 minutes then run as fast as u can for 1 minute and then go back to joging and cool down. Oh and sprints engages ur abs especially ur lower abs

best ab workout ever!!! im skeptical when it comes to youtube videos and getting six pack, but this really does work. i suggest doing from chair to floor 20 times, 2 minute break then 20 more then 1 minute break then 20 more. u cant move afterward.

ok, to ppl that dont understand, there is no progressions to an 8 pack. thats genetics. ur either born with a 6 pack or an 8 pack. u cant get a 6 pack n turn it into an 8 pack. one is not better then the other, theyre just different. be happy with what god gave u n make the most out of it.

@cerberusxpearl it's not genetics. Wherever you got that from. It's true however that some people can never advance to a 8 or even a 6 pack simply because they store most of their bodyfat in the stomach area. They can get down to 2% bodyfat and it would still be 2% in the stomach area and covering up their 6/8 pack. For most people this is not the case and the way for them to get abs(6 or 8) is simply to lose bodyfat and lots of it.

I found that doing hanging leg raises on the popular 'iron gym' doorway bar works upper and lower abs to the max. Check out my abs, i never do crunches or sit ups.
