Got an Izzard story! In December 2001 I was trying to find a little adaptor for my boss's dictating machine (like you do), and I was in Tottenham Court Road in London (lots of electrical shops) at 4.30pm and it was dark already and pretty cold. I stopped to watch a classic Tom & Jerry cartoon, featuring Spike on a huge flat screen TV through a shop window, and realised that there was someone standing next to me laughing along. It was Mr I; what a top, top bloke!
