I have an authentic SS uniform from about 1935 that I won at an auction. It has everything from tunic to pants to Nazi/swastika red armband around the left arm, the 'V' on the right arm, the SS 'lightning-like' logo on the handcuffs and so forth. The pants have to be tied up and down the side.

Hitler thought a massive project would drain funds. Even if the Germans took England and Russia we still would have simply bombed pretty much the whole wold. He did consolidate power, but it can also be said that the real economic damage was a result of him printing money in order to pay off IMF induced debt. He DID increase discretionary income by about 900% for the soldiers and police over a relatively short period of time, but I do not think that the income affect alone could have had such devastating effects by itself. They both made mistakes. No one is perfect.

Don't get cocky. That's what a lot of people said after the war, but there were still people like Stalin, who was much more evil than Hitler. And now that's what people say about Stalin and Hitler.
True politicians' methods are a lot more subtle, but the goal is still the same: gain power and eliminate any opposition that could unseat you from that power.

True - but Stalin was a person of the same period in history. These days, democracy, which is pretty wide-spread, sets strict limitations to the methods of "gaining power" and "eliminating opposition". And I doubt anyone today has the guts for breaking these chains.
I'm Russian myself btw, but I'm trying to be as objective as possible. For instance, I would admit Stalin was far more cruel than Hitler. To his own nation especially. I had multiple chances of talking to the people who knew him.

It's true that Hitler was a monster, slaughtering 14 million innocent people and starting the most deadly conflict in world history. But Stalin was much worse. At least Hitler wanted the best for his country and for his Aryan race. Stalin however didn't care for anybody-not only his own family. During the war his son was captured, and the Nazis proposed a trade between him and a German General. Stalin laughed at them asking "Why should I trade a boy for a general?" He was killed eventually.

I have always questioned the 6 million jews that were killed. Not because i'm a fan of Hitler, or dislike Jews,,, but just because logistically it doens't make sense.
If you look at those numbers. Compare it with the population,,, then figure the time span. How could you murder and dispose of that many people?
You would require a huge volume of people to do it when you include the incarceration, murder, disposal ect. Huge numbers invovled.

I have an authentic SS uniform from about 1935 that I won at an auction. It has everything from tunic to pants to Nazi/swastika red armband around the left arm, the 'V' on the right arm, the SS 'lightning-like' logo on the handcuffs and so forth. The pants have to be tied up and down the side.
Great piece of history for a World War II buff like myself. I'm thinking about pulling it our and wearing it when me and my gf go to a halloween party. The reaction should be interesting.
