  • I can so relate...*everyone* calls me daughter Amber. her name is Autumn.

Once Someone saw how I spell my name and argued with me that I pronounce it wrong. Duh, you'd think I'd know how to say my own name.

  • Hahaha is the guy your husband?

  • haha, it's ridiculous how many chandra's I get....

  • Hahaha; I LOVE the guy at the end.

  • ya nobody can spell my name right

I met this person at this convention I went to where you had to where a nametag and I was bored I made a huge light up bill board just small enough I put it on a band and wore it on my head the girl spelled my name wrong in an email :(

  • Shakesspear's point was if the name of the rose was a different name like dirt flower it still would be a beautiful fragrant flower. Shakespeare was not speaking about pronouncing the name rose wrong. What he meant was if the Rose was called flower with painful spikes it would be just as beautiful and fragrant. He was stating the name was not as important as the thing itself. He was not talking about getting the name wrong. See phrases.org.uk/meanings/305250.html for the phrase.

  • Well first it seems as if you did not notice my first post mentioning how my family name, although it is of Italian origin and ends in I like Macaroni, it is pronounced with a final I instead of the final e like most Italian words that end in I are pronounced. So I know what it is like.

  • o.O

People constantly think I'm saying Tiffany or Bethany, when in fact my name is Stefanii.

    It's really aggravating.

  • PS

It is obvious that you are more than intelligent enough to understand the Shakespear you quote so that it is a wee bit disingenuous (yes a big word used by a public school educated person)you use it in the incorrect context, I will not explain the correct context because you know what I mean.

PPS I don't have a computer, well I'll cop to the computer but I don't have a cell phone, I don't IM or Text. When I am not home I am off the grid. Oh try to read the book in the dark.

  • @alphaboo1

How did she incorrectly use Shakespeare there?

    o.O

It fits perfectly with the video.

  • My family name is an Italian name ending in the vowel I. Now people who have spent their lives pronouncing macaroni, Toni, and Isabella Rossini correctly-the I pronounced as E, for some reason pronounce the final vowel in my name as I. My family name is not difficult it is seven letters or less yet about 90% of people get it wrong. It is close to Macaroni (e) yet they pronounce as if it did not rhyme with Macaroni they pronounce it as if it was an I.

How the F can you get Bethany wrong?

  • I get this ALL the time!!! We are cursed aren't we lol.

  • oh i thoght ur name was ophelia O_o hahah

  • People mess my name up all the time. Intelligent people with college educations and masters degrees. It's not hard to get Levi right. My name is EVERYWHERE, you might be down with my name plastered on your ass but at one time you looked at it before you bought those jeans.

  • lol!! the last few seconds....AWKWARD!!! :)

  • that book actually sounds really interesting. is it worth reading??

  • No one can pronounce the name Miles. Its disheartening :(

  • ugh NO ONE can pronounce me name!! I say my name and they can never hear it I have to say it 3 times!!! sometimes they still don't know what is is lol...I guess my name is hard to say right lol idk seems pretty simple to me

  • whats ur name?

  • Caleb

  • my name is bethany...this video is the story of my life

  • me too! i think i'm gonna start wearing a nametag for the rest of my life.

old guys always think my name is either brittany or stephanie. i'm like, "dude, no! its BETHANY!!! you know, like the Bethany where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead?" gosh! then again, not everyone knows that, right?

  • oh my word i have gotten that before!!! My name is Lydia and when I introduce myself they say "Leah?" no Lydia "Linda?" Li-dee-aaaa "oooooh Lindia!" *rolls eyes*

  • That was sipposed to be "pithy" not pity :(

  • Once again you have created an interesting, poignant and pity video. (I like adjectives)!
