@SSArcher11, Annie engaged, over the years, in various tricks to maintain some appearance of youth -- which helped to impress the crowds somewhat. Among the tricks were moving her birthdate six years, and wearing her hair out and long -- fashionable for younger girls of the period. More than likely, she simply got tired of dyeing it, and found the train accident a suitable excuse to stop. Records suggest the train accident didn't actually hurt her, yet a later car accident did.

Thank you. I have loved her since I was a child. She has inspired me to live an active life and to develop my shooting skills. She taught hundreds of women to shoot and believed that every woman should be able to defend herself.
