That percentage is probably 100% if conspiracy and aggravated perjury are counted.

At the very least, all pigs honor the blue code of silence and are thus felons in a passive-aggressive way. Extrapolating, using the Philadelphia Police Department's own statistics, 4.8% of cops will be arrested. Also, a large study evidenced that only 8% of police crimes will result in an arrest. Using the aforementioned set of data, assuming a proportional distribution of offenses committed by cops arrested and those not, the logical conclusion is that 60% of cops are criminals. That percentage is probably 100% if conspiracy and aggravated perjury are counted.

If Mumia had been convicted of killing a civilian, based on contemporary laws he would have been found guilty of third-degree murder and spent a mere two-and-a-half years in state prison. The victim was a cop, an aggravating factor which bumped the crime up to first-degree murder with the accompanying death penalty. Such harsh sentences for cop killers result from many of the lawmakers' hack relatives being cops. Legislators and cops want killers of their own kind to be punished more severely.
