My father is a surfer, and he totally LOVED this movie. I think its funny, but I cant understand it... Theres too much and nothing going on. I mean, the whole TV program, whats the point? apart from being very visual stimulating, this movie sucked. not only were the waves flat (and rarely shown) but the acting and direction was also very...stagnate. I surf in Florida and i watched this with a bunch of my friends. Its kind of sad how hollywood has to portray surfers as half naked ALL the time and completly stupid and not caring about anything except the waves.
