I just purchased one of these today at an estate sale in Connecticut. It's in wonderful condition except of two missing keys (the bolts that tune the strings) and something along the opposite side from the strings, but I can't quite make it out... I sure would love to see a photo or two of your tremeloa up close if possible.
I have seen these things for sale for years. Yet to see someone who can actually play one. They were sold door to door to unaware people who thought they would actually learn to play it...
This has to be one of the most unique-sounding instruments that I have ever heard. I wish my Marxophone was in that good of condition. I'm glad that I got a chance to hear one of these!

I had two of these- I managed to play the melody string decently but I couldn't coordinate it with the left hand chords.
