  • THe hinge will break!

    fix it ASAP!

  • i guess you can fix it by unscrewing the unit and put some rubber coating in it?

  • It's not so bad with my one, check with Sony or the retailer.

My one only moves if you have it completely vertical.

  • First your Macbook Air and now your Vaio P. I'm starting to notice a pattern. Maybe it's not your laptops. MAYBE it's you dude...

  • Damn, I feel for you. Oh well, won't stop me lusting after this. (^_^)

  • I wonder if it could be related to a feature of the P called a variable torque hinge? It means the torgue and the force you need to open and close the lid varies depending on how open the lid is. Its why the lid of the P can be hard to open theres alot more torgue, likewise when the lid is open fully the hinge is alot stiffer. Inbetween those extremes theres alot less torgue.

  • mine does the same thing too. im pretty sure they are all made that way cuz its such a thin and light screen.

  • dude.. thatsucks... is there a way to fix it?
