  • I am doing this!! Just Started working on it today!! I am woman 2 or 2nd women!! I am so excited to be doing this!! My Director is also having dancing in between all of the pieces as well! I really liked all the energy you all had! You all stayed together which can be hard from what I know of my one day rehearsal. Great job!

  • My favorite version so far. Everyone usually does this so dry. Bravo. Well done.

  • I couldn't watch it all at once, I had to take a break to catch my breath. OMG this is hysterical. I don't know how the actors kept it together. I would LOVE to act in this piece. Good job!

  • the music in the background was extremely distracting

  • @uncahenryy Philip Glass is a composer and the background music is his composition. I think the play structure was to imitate his style of composition.

  • WHUTT TTUH HELL !*

  • what?

  • this was efffing good.

  • Great job guys! I wish there were more insane light changes! But you did such a good job! Thanks for sharing this! I love this piece! One of the best Versions of this piece I have ever seen!

  • chaffey college did it better lol

  • i was Philip Glass and Don from Universal Language. these peices were...puzzling at first ,but this version of Philip Glass seems a lil extreme. good job though

  • @TheWhiteone55 No way! This is David Ives most absurd of all his absurd plays! So you can go ALL OUT ON THIS ONE! It's incredible!

  • That's awesome. I love All in the Timing. Philip Glass and the Universal Language are probably the best two. Great rendition of this play!

  • i dont get it???

  • that sucks

  • wow, this is great.

my drama class did this recently for an exercise... this really is quite funny and it is an interpretation none of us ever saw or even thought of.

  • you philistines obviously have never

    heard a philip glass piece

    this was a terrible interpretation

  • There was dancing between all of the pieces. It was a transition device that our director wanted.

  • Why is there dancing in the beginning?

Otherwise, I can now see why this would be funny. Its quite hilarious!

  • I love the the blocking and the energy, but the voices are not musical enough to make it sound like a glass piece. Wonderful non the less.

  • I think this is the absolute best I've seen this done! Amazing!

  • Yeah, my dad taped it and I think he had to change the battery halfway through.

  • Omg...lol so I'm doing this for my one act show in a month.. AHHH! Whats the music you used in the back round?

  • I think it's music writen by Phillip lass himself. XD

  • Best version I've seen. Well done!

  • This is definitely the best version I found on YouTube. Hilariously directed and performed!

  • this is absolutely wonderful! i'm completely overwhelmed!! fantastic!!! ...put me off bread for for a couple of months though.

  • this was a director's interpretation. when grouped with the entire production of all in the timing, subtlety would not have worked.

  • It is nice to hear the music written for this sketch, but only if the actors are trained and can really hold the intonation and tone quality needed for singing minimalist music. (I know it's a parody, but half-assed singing does not equal comedy) I thought this take on it was a fantastic different approach...and agree it's the best version I've seen on youtube.

  • Dunno what happened to your camera though...wish i could've seen the whole thing.

  • yews it would, clearly you do not understand theatre, or the word subtlety.

  • It's better when done with more subtlety in my opinion.

  • I'd have to disagree and say spontaneous actions are better, but that's just me.

  • well, we can still love each other even if you think that.

  • Can we, TyUnglebower? Can we, really?

  • I know what you mean, but I'm not sure if "subtlety" is the right word. While the shouting and running are surely very funny (and well performed!), this doesn't really have much to do with Phillip Glass's music or style.

  • That wonderful version you posted depicts a difficult moment that refuses to end. The Philip Glass concept is hilarious but below that there's a sadness or even horror, as if we're watching people trapped in their roles. Overplaying chases out the poignancy.

  • This is really great!!
