Great sound quality, but i must agree with VISUDDHATAMA-I would have loved to see both of his hands as he is playing. This is the first time I've heard this amazing musician, I live in New Hampshire USA and am a huge fan of Indian classical music-I listen to it all day in my art studio. THANK YOU for posting, Namaste!
This young player of the Sitar has exceptional connection with that which touches the Soul. Too bad that the video editing of this particular piece, image within image does not flow in rytjm with the sound we are hearing. With such amazing inner telent, remaining on the goal of perfection, like Nikhil da , is critical. Where is His guru? Is he not listening to His Guru?
The artist has totally involved with the instrument and music. As if tune is coming out of intuition.

Such a wonderful rendition of raag Pilu by Niladri Kumar accompanied by the great tabla maestro Pandit Abhijit Banerjee. Just loved it.
