  • The artist has totally involved with the instrument and music. As if tune is coming out of intuition.

  • Thanks for posting! Awesome!

  • Such a wonderful rendition of raag Pilu by Niladri Kumar accompanied by the great tabla maestro Pandit Abhijit Banerjee. Just loved it.

  • wow, this is one of the last remaining completely hindustani classical recordings of Niladri Kumar. Thanks or sharing this.

  • Great sound quality, but i must agree with VISUDDHATAMA-I would have loved to see both of his hands as he is playing. This is the first time I've heard this amazing musician, I live in New Hampshire USA and am a huge fan of Indian classical music-I listen to it all day in my art studio. THANK YOU for posting, Namaste!

  • very very very nice,

    allah ap salamat rakhie,

    wah,

  • wah wah subhanallah kyaa bhat he.

  • awesome... i wish to visit india one day

  • Good playing.. the sound and video are not in sync. Maybe redo this!!

  • WAH, KEYA BATT... SO NICE!!

  • This young player of the Sitar has exceptional connection with that which touches the Soul. Too bad that the video editing of this particular piece, image within image does not flow in rytjm with the sound we are hearing. With such amazing inner telent, remaining on the goal of perfection, like Nikhil da , is critical. Where is His guru? Is he not listening to His Guru?

  • totally awesome!!!

  • Niladri ji is prob. my favorite sitar player :-))

  • Except now he's fat and plays sitar like he's on crack.

  • is wz telecasted??? at star plus???? when??

  • I really like that. I completely agree with you

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • Great playing , one of the best sitar tones I have heard in recent times, sharp, sweet and mellow.

  • Dang....that's a freakin' awesome video, most definitely!

  • Wow..speechless! He is a genius!

  • do you know which notes are used? sounds to me like a variation of kafi

  • It seems more mishra piloo than kafi, both ga, both ni and both dha are played,

    This guy is awesome!
